Winter Depression Thread

It is 15 degrees this AM in the Boston area.

I was out shoveling snow at 8 am this morning.   I guess outdoor golf is officially finished until spring!

They said only 10% chance of snow today. Yeah right.

Woke up to snow and my plans to play around today went out the window. Ugh.

Right now I am doing okay despite the 9-10 inches of snow we just received.  I played on Wednesday (12/7) and the warm glow of getting a round in prior to the hammer falling is still with me.  By next weekend, I suspect I will be down in the basement fiddling with the clubs and wondering whether we will have an early Spring.

We're getting a bit of melt-off today, and I'll wait to snowblow for the first time until about 4pm.  So long as we can avoid having too big of a "bump" at the end of the driveway, I'm okay with that.

Its very cold here, but I was happy to get down to Tampa for 3 rounds this weekend. Headed to NJ tonight. Not ready for snow.

Light dusting of snow last week, and looks like some more coming on Wednesday.

Forecast makes it looks like it will be a while before I get back out on an outdoor range or out playing. I can get through December okay usually, but I'll get antsy when it gets to January or February.

Ball-shriveling cold for the next two days does suck. Saturday's high is 47 but with rain in the forecast. It's going to take a monsoon to keep me inside.

It should be a lot of fun. Temps appear to be hanging around the 80 mark over the next few weeks. 

Wife took this pic yesterday. Anyone that wants to come down and play on the 28th can let me know. I'm reserving tee times tomorrow.
