Favorite tourney to watch

Just curious, and I'm sure there's an older thread but maybe your view has changed. So what's your favorite major and non major to watch, on any tour. As far as majors, I lean towards the US Open. There's just something about watching the best gets their arse kicked by a course that makes me feel good. Lol. It's nice to know they are human. Non majors, I like the national pro am and the Accenture match play. With this being the last year at dove mountain, hopefully it will move to a course that more of the pros like and get the bigger names involved. I just like seeing the different formats in the lime light.

Masters & Players.

The Masters, followed by the British Open, US Open, PGA, Tour Championship, and Players.

Masters - minimal commercials, lots of live streaming options. Non tour - any Euro tour event with a good field and course - usually fewer commercials and less yapping than US coverage.

Masters and the US Open.  I love watching the amatuers in both, and I especially enjoy the extremely difficult set-up in the Open.

The fact that it falls over Fathers Day weekend means I have a free pass to watch and play as much golf as I like too.

Non-Major - The Players or the Tour Championship

I would put the PGA on this list if it went back to match play.

Without question and for many reasons I like watching the Masters best.  My second choice is the US Open.

I also like watching the Match Play in Tucson.  Match play is the only way you get to see the man on man competition.  Make for some exciting shots that you would never see attempted in stroke play.

Major - Has to be the Masters Non-Major - AT&T; Pro Am @ Pebble. Not so much the celebrities but that course gets me everytime. I will definitely be in attendance when the US Open returns to Pebble in a few years.

Major: The Masters - it really kicks off the golf season in Canada.

Non Major: Probably The Players Championship. The RBC Canadian Open is fun to watch too depending on where it is.

Like others, the Masters and US Open take the cake for me. I will be going to the Friday round of the U.S. Open this year. Can't tell you guys how pumped I am about that!

The Masters has to be at the top of my list for majors, I think that it has something to do with the strategy of placing your approach shots and still being able to go low scorewise. I hate watching Pebble Beach because of the amateur coverage but I love the Waste Management tourny.

Definitely the Masters - Good coverage, new season beginning, great time of year and tradition.  Favorite non-major - the Phoenix Open (recently called the Waste Management Open until another sponsor takes over).

Masters The Open (British) - it's just fun to watch them play the "different" game that those courses impose in them.

I'd say Masters, mostly because it's the first major of the year and I always get excited for it.
