Two weeks on, three weeks off, that makes sense.

This probably won't happen... But maybe he plays Houston, too? Who knows. I think even if he won both (probably won't), he wouldn't qualify for the Match Play, because isn't the cut-off after Valspar?

What's in Shane's Bag?

Right, I doubt even a win at the Valspar gets him into the Top 64, but I am not certain of that.

I doubt he will play Houston, but maybe he is going to decide after playing back-to-back these next two weeks.

Surprised and glad to hear it! Valspar sneakily has a pretty impressive field now- Tiger, Rory, and Spieth all playing.

It'd be close, we're still working off that minimum divisor, but he'd need in the neighborhood of 64 points to qualify... So it's not a completely dead thought. But I don't think the field is strong enough to get 64 points for a win.

But he would easily be in the top 100 with a win though... If the win is worth say 48 ranking points. It all depends on how many players in the top 200 are playing.

If Tiger gets another top 10 at Innisbrook, I'm a beilbler at Bay Hill.

I think I'm a believer at Bay Hill almost regardless of what happens at Valspar....it's Tiger and Bay Hill after all.

Golf on TV, besides the majors of course, definitely has become worth watching again.

Where does he live again? Close to BH and Innisbrook right? Guessing both courses being close to home has something to do with it, rather than doing Bay Hill - Match Play/Puntacana.

Two weeks on, two weeks off… then the Masters. Where are you getting three weeks?

Not really. Innisbrook is west coast, Bay Hill is Orlando. He lives much closer to PGA National than either of those two courses.

I double counted the simultaneous events during match play.

I wonder how he gets to Innisbrook/Bay Hill - probably private jet.

I'm sure he jets everywhere but Dubai.

Trollin' is the life

Rather than troll the WGC thread, I'll simply point out that Phil's last win before this past weekend was at the Bridgestone in 2013.  We all know who also last won in 2013, right? So it only makes sense that Tiger wins this year, and I'll go out on a limb and predict this week. Tiger will win the Valspar.

I think it was the Open.
