can't be any worse than Callaway's last iterations.

Agreed.

I think Hogan has the best clubs in the market going as far back as the time he was giving input to the MacGregor line. His late 50's early 60's clubs could stand up to many of sets designed today.

He lost it a bit in the 80's only making a few hits, and many folks like @mvmac the '99 model was popular as well.

I am hopeful for this update.

Who said anything about Vokeys? Yes, I'm well aware their core product line is cast - although they do produce a forged series for the JDM market. Plenty of other "premium" brands also make true forged clubs. None of them make any bones that casting and then form forging them means they are in any way superior. Lest we forget, this thread is about the reprise of of the Hogan brand. If you really want forged Hogan irons that badly, you can pick up plenty of old sets and be assured of their quality. But if you're looking for the resurrection of the brand on the same level of it's once great appeal, then you can expect it around the same time as Aston Martin make that SUV. FT. WORTH 15 IRONS

The new Ft. Worth 15 irons – the most accurate and forgiving Hogan irons ever, give more golfers the ability to be a “Hogan Player” once again.

When Mr. Hogan started his company in 1953, he did so to “design and manufacture the best clubs in golf” with “the most exacting tolerances.” With the Ft. Worth 15 irons, we feel we have again done exactly what Mr. Hogan originally set out to do.

Forged from premium 1025 Carbon Steel, the new Ft. Worth 15 irons offer the ultimate performance, feel and sound that Mr. Hogan would have demanded while embracing industry-first technologies such as the Precise Loft™ System and HoganFitTM to give golfers a level of precision never before seen in the game.

Selling clubs by loft is nothing new for Mr. Koehler (SCOR wedges). I am curious if it works for an iron set, too. "Hoganfit" says it all. Getting fitted by picking the right club might be a new way to explore.

And I bet it is going to be an up-price exclusive product line. Miura comes to mind. We will see how attractive the Hogan brand still is.

Oh please Mike, loads of photos and try to hit a few balls with them. Am not so sure that I will get to see the clubs over here in Europe. At least not in 2015.

Here is an article with a little more info such as price, fitting, etc.

I'm really liking these a lot. Kind of seem they may be a possible improvement of the mp32, i think they look a little better anyway, and the cutout just reminds me a lot of the mp32s.

The clubs, which were unveiled Tuesday at the merchandise show in Orlando, will sell for $149 for a steel shaft, or $164 for a graphite shaft.

1,050 $ for a set of seven clubs (P to 4 or 9 to 3). Very competitive!

Bet we see a good deal of new Hogan irons out there soonish.

Am not sure that I like the brushed look thou.

One of the best sets of irons I eve played was the Hogan Edge, they had a great feel. That being said, coming soon, near you, Hogan irons on a clearance rack.

Pics and videos posted in the PGA Show thread. Got to hit them and thought they were great. Very easy to hit, I like the sole design, the high bounce portion of the sole is more prominent than what I've seen with the SCOR wedges. Irons didn't dig, felt the "glide".

Is there a range of handicaps that these irons are designed for? Would you say they more "players" than GI?

I would say they are "players" irons. That said, I wouldn't mind getting my hands on a set. I'm really interested in the sole design and they're a beautiful set of clubs.

    • Day 206 3-11 Focused on wider backswing and reconnecting arm in downswing. Wasn't really happy with how swing was looking today. Wider backswing is very different for me. Went back to do a some longer pauses at the top. Hit a few foam balls.
    • This is an awesome breakdown. most of the bigger tournaments usually have one wave with the advantage, Thank you for the breakdown. If it is soft then it will be a lower final score
    • Over the past 15 years, the winning score has ranged from -10 to -20. Mostly around -13.  Here is Thursday and Friday weather. Saturday and Sunday weather. I think the course will play soft. Plenty of sky cover, lots of rain on Thursday. Fairways and greens will probably stay soft throughout the week.  In terms of tee times, I think Thursday morning and Friday afternoon have the biggest advantage. • We have a very difficult but mostly showy course this week. Lets see what they got. This course offers so many chances to get into trouble it is really a mental minefield. I am excited to see who can handle it and who cant. Last year we got a foreshadowing of JJ and Rory, I am excited for this year Who do people have winning? what will the winning score be? I am thinking 12 or 13 under
