LOL I'm all proud that I managed to get all 5 in the air. You launch them with ease and declare it simply ok. #Higherstandards ;-)
go for 6!
I believe the bar has been raised to 7.

I suspect some of y'all been practicing before filming. That's a no-no. I filmed it cold (figuratively and literally!), not even a practice swing as evidenced by the virgin snow. I'm pretty sure I can pull it off better now that I've experienced the first 3 attempts. Unfortunately the inch and a half of snow in my yard has now grown to a foot and a half...

Yours in earnest, Jason.

There's no practicing allowed, but that doesn't mean you aren't allowed to take practice swings. I showed all the "practice" that I had beforehand in the couple practice swings before I first hit the balls. Today is when I plan to film the attempt for six or seven golf balls in my yard, and I'll do the same in showing all the "practice" I have.

Yeah, I wasn't suggesting that a practice swing wasn't allowed, just pointing out that I didn't take one. I figured I had three attempts so the first one would serve as better practice than a practice swing. I also flubbed the first one and dug in prior to the 4th ball which taught me more than an air swing would have. I was actually pleasantly surprised to get 3 on the first attempt and all 4 on the second and third. It's pretty easy, even with Carnival Stripper Knees. Lol.

Or maybe we're just better at pitching the ball than you :-P

Was that because if you had waited the balls would have been frozen to the ground?

Will have to try to find some nice bermuda fairway lies for that, no way with the kind of grass on the range.

I only took about 5 practice swings, gotta get that "brush" feel.

First attempts by @Golfingdad and @Shindig , We didn't have much time so they'll do their next two at another time.

I did a little better this time, remembering to use my 59 instead of my 54, and no doubt the mat assisted me a bit.  Also learned I'm way too steep on my pitches, so ... something to work on:

(Also, wearing nearly the exact same outfit. :8) )

    • Those are better. Watch where the shaft points at the top, too. Bit over-rolled there (laid off).
    • First swings at after a 2.5 month forced hiatus. No surgery in the forecast at the moment! Doc said okay to start easing in gently over a few weeks. The effort is barely 30% here but felt solid.  I think my swing changed a few years ago after my right ankle injury (weight shift profile). I wonder if this may bring about another change. I certainly won't pivot on to the knee (left) aggressively any time soon, if ever. Could even be a good thing..heh.
    • I mean, I just assume he mistyped something. 🙂 Promos were on X/Twitter and today I put the promo on IG. The full video is landscape (not good for Instagram) and too big for X (file size), so it's always been on YouTube.
    • Slomo video of me working on the arms raising thing in the backswing. I think this is better, albeit I’m going fairly slowly and then stopping. Too darn cold to go outside and I don’t have room to safely make a full motion indoors, so this will have to do till I can make it to the range.
    • Very concise and to the point.  I can attest; it makes the golf swing easier if you keep that right arm under control.
