Everything we've seen and heard from Augusta National says you're about nine weeks behind the times with that. :)

Hope you're right but the proof will be in the pudding..

Did another drill with the punisher.   I am hitting my rib cage less often.    Tend to hit myself when I swing at normal speed.  If I want to stop hitting myself, I slow down my swing to get the mechanics right.    This golf practice thing is boring.  Got my music playing in the background to keep it enjoyable.   Maybe, listening to Bob Dylan sing blues is not the best for this.   Will try different music tonight.   Perhaps, play some disco.

Did a bit of pitching practice as well.   Getting cleaner contact for those pesky 40 to 60 yard pitch shots.

Disagree here. Dylan is good for everything.

From what I've seen and heard it's not a full swing drill..

Yeah, I do 3/4 swing at slow to normal speed.    I don't try to do full swings at any speed, not after the 1st few times :-( .

Some do this to improve chipping, pitching.   Perhaps, that explains why my putting stat has improved recently (

Will listen to Bob Seger today on the background - Still the same, Against the wind, Like a rock, ..., I can't wait to go home and practice.

Now those songs would make anything better! Don't try practicing to "Hollywood Nights", tho, or you will speed up without knowing it.

I'm in. I threw my back out a couple of weeks ago, but have recovered relatively fast and am starting to swing again. The slow motion practice is just what I need now anyway. I worked on my backswing today with stuff from evolvr. Probably did about 15 to 20 slow mo swings in 30 minutes.

Managed to get my five minutes in yesterday after all, and did my five minutes today. Going to do five more later.

Got my five minutes in last night and tonight. I feel like the muscles in my upper back between my shoulder blades are sore every morning from working on dipping my left shoulder and holding my backswing at the top. I really have gained distance on my irons. Today I hit an 8 iron 173 into a par 3 to about 12 ft then made the birdie. Things are getting better. My good shots are better than they were before, and my bad shots, not as terrible.

Yesterday I hit the gym and then came home and did some slow swings indoors practicing Key 2.

Today, I looked at my last Evolvr video and I had forgotten how specific it was on Key 2 by having my front knee pointing towards the target to get my weight forward and thrusting my hips underneath my head.  Spent about 10 minutes doing this.

I'm supposed to go to the gym tomorrow and then practice in front of the mirror before practicing this outside, too.

Did some mirror work while I waited for my gf to finish getting ready for work, focusing on Key #2 and in particular, driving towards the target and then pushing my hips underneath my head.

5 minutes of mirror work. Bunch of balls hit on the course. . .

The 5 minutes of mirror work is helping. Hit a few more balls on the course today. Starting to get the high penetrating flight I envied from my playing partners with the GI clubs. Can do it with 60, 52, PW, 9i, 8i and almost the 7i. It happens with the longer irons, but not that often. Slicing my 3i now, but it's getting pretty far out there. The main thing the mirror work is helping me with is my body position when I try to keep my right wrist flat or palmered. I am starting to do this with my driver again as well. Can't get long drives yet, but once I get used to the body positions, I feel like I can put a lot more speed on the club head with better timing and sequencing. Going to try five 5 minute sessions scattered throughout the day to see if it improves the results even more. . .

I wonder if I'm the only one who sneaks in 30 second mirror sessions at work when no one else is in the restroom at the same time.

No you are not. I do it all the time.

We have somewhat reflective glass so I can see myself in that most of the day. Was mirror like when it was dark before closing. I just leave my mat out 24/7 and swing from time to time. Most days I just head to the range. It's really the only benefit to being self employed. I can sneak away here and there for golf but otherwise a prisoner.

Got my five minutes in today while waiting for a lesson to show up. I'll do a similar thing tomorrow, except that it will be chipping/pitching stuff tomorrow.
