#18 is a beast today.

4.662 average today (Par 4, of course)

41% of players have shot over par for the hole.

#17 is playing 3.268 average, so that's combined  0.93 over par average for the field for the final two holes.

Hahaha, i feel bad for you guy, I really do. I've been enjoying the golf thus far.

Nothing like the weekend though. I assume you'll be able to watch the weekend?

I'm traveling down to The City tomorrow so likely won't catch any of it, Saturday I'm hoping to get some golf in and then Sunday, spending it with mom before I head back home.

Pretty full weekend.

Just proves how treacherous that 17th can be no matter what your lead is on Sunday.....I watched him hit all of those shots while sitting next to the 17th island green.....

Watched the big groups play 17th then moved on .......will return for a few hours tomorrow a.m. then head home before the usual big crowd Friday shows up.....

      No! Is a large part of the human population selfish, apathetic and cuts corners/breaks rules in the name of self-preservation 'more than they would like to admit', yes. Degenerate, scum, etc?.. no!! Most humans/men would not grope a woman like Phil is accused of doing (I think he absolutely did). That is scum. I mean what % of men do you think would do that? Seriously??

      I entirely agree with everything you said, but would just note that normal human beings are a lot closer to degenerate and avaricious scum than many of us might be comfortable admitting/might realize.

Most despicable is a bit much.  Again, a bit over the top here.  Most athletes are probably closer to being normal human beings than degenerates and avaricious scum.  Just sounds like you want to generalize all athletes because it is easy to do so. Hey, generalizing a subset of a population is entirely a human thing to do.

      This is so awesome; my two biggest lifetime hero and the biggest superstars of the past 35 years in golf……both turned out to be the two of the most despicable human beings in professional sports… Between this and everyone whoring themselves out for Saudi Arabia… Used to love golf because I thought they were smarter, better people than the other sports. Turns out a huge percentage of them are total degenerates and avaricious scum like every other sport!
