10 minutes of slow swings, focused on my hip turn. Also, normal speed swings to get the feel for the body synchronization.

Spent an hour and a half on the range working on the synchronization. I only fell back to the pulls a few times. Lost a little carry distance, but it's hard to tell as it was only 60-63F this morning and the loss of distance could have been from the cold air?

My shots are becoming "spinnier", and landing with a thud sound more often even at 150 yards. Not surprising considering the craters I left on the greens yesterday.

Did the 3'/6' putting drill. Managed to drain all 8 on the first try. Then headed over to the chipping area and practiced up&downs.; 4 locations , 2 balls, have to get up&downs; with both to move to next location. If I fail to get either up&down; back to the previous location. That one took awhile...

8/11/15: Played pull back with Maggie today, I beat her bad... Lag putting from 40 and out has been a little suspect.

Practiced the closed face drill while focusing on keeping the right arm more passive in the downswing and turning through the shot more with the body, to help keep my right elbow bent longer.

Spent 10 minutes mapping my swing, especially A6 to 9. I focused on the hip turn completing the swing.

Today was a tough mental day at the range.  I had a really hard time focusing on what I wanted to work on.

I did my normal warm up of hitting 10 balls with my sand wedge with my feet together.

My plan was to hitting 5 balls with my 5 wood working on my priority piece.  Then I would hit a normal shot.  The range i go to is beat up really bad so I couldn't find a decent patch of grass to hit from.  So I switched to 5 shots with my 6 iron then a normal shot with my 6 iron.

"Driver at home" for 5-10 minutes with a medicine ball after a long day. I'm pretty sure I'm doing it right. Maybe I should get out the camera and post my attempt in my "My swing" thread?

8/12/15: Worked on my back swing without balls today. Trying to FEEL a three-quarter backswing... I used a 6-iron for this exercise.

Had a really good range session. Probably will be ready to record a minor progress session this weekend. Tiny steps, but I hope in the correct direction.
