A little off topic but is Day's child a boy or a girl? I never questioned that the kid was a girl a few weeks ago but I swear they just said "he" when talking about him/her.

Boy -- name is Dash.

Similar hairstyle to his Dad several years ago.

Let's say JD wins again in the Playoffs, and picks up the FedEx Cup title. That would give him five victories for the season; would he have a stronger claim to Player of the Year honors over Jordan Spieth?

My first instinct was to say no, but the more I think about it, the less sure I am. Two majors and four wins is pretty incredible. But is one major and five wins is also pretty damn incredible. I'd say he'd have to win twice more in the playoffs before I'd really consider giving it to him over Speith.

Mind blown but thanks for letting me know. I can see it now but it never crossed my mind that his child was a boy.

It's because his mom is so damn pretty that he has some of her physical traits.

Maybe they can afford to cut Dash's haircut now.

It would be a tough call but given how high Jordan finished in the other two majors plus his victories this season I would think makes it almost impossible for Day to take POTY away from him.

Dash is a cute kid who cares how long his hair is at this age.

I don't care about his hair. I honestly thought he was a girl. I wasn't being snide or anything. Cute kid.

I am betting that Jordan Spieth is chomping at the bit about now...

Well done Jason Day,he has definitely taken over THE ZONE from Spieth. On the European tour, congrats to Thomas Pieters on winning the Czech open with a score of -20,his first victory and only the third Belgian ever to win on the tour. Nicolas Colsaerts and Phillipe Toussaint were the other two. Thomas's family drove 600miles overnight from Antwerp to Prague to see him lift the trophy.

Really good weekend by Jason, I'm happy he's finally started winning bigger events. He's been contending in them for years now and seems to have broken through a barrier (possibly mental).

Brian Harman buys the media beer and liquor for hitting those two aces in the round. Nothing like buckets O'beer ;)

That's a lot of alcohol. (Twitter/Helen_PGATour)

    • Day 292: light day today. Mirror work, working on getting my hips more open in the downswing.
    • Day 135 (27 Apr 24) - played Bradford Creek today while waiting for the missus fly in from her extended visit with the grands.  Good day to stay focused as it was a hurry up (groups pressing from behind) and wait (groups taking their time ahead)…a good day to stay mentally in the game - play the shot and not get frustrated in the waiting…
    • Day 122: 4/27/24 Supposed to be a Stack training day but I was beat after yard work today. Practiced chipping and putting at The Creek. The practice green is pretty slow but the session went well.
    • Went to the range today and was cursing myself when I got there as I realized I forgot my phone. I added an earlier wrist hinge to the short backswing I was using last time practicing and ball strikes were really good for the most part. I'm heading back to Boston Thursday to see friends and family and have a couple of rounds planned so I'm hoping to keep this feeling.  Yesterday morning I weighed in at 232. My goal had been 230 but maybe now it's 220. I'll have to think about that. I feel so much better without the extra 90 lbs. from 2 years ago. Still a softl slightly less protruding belly so it might be time to go hard on eating better. Work in progress.
    • Day 7- Went to the range and hit a bucket. Also did some chipping and putting.
