Ticketmaster was involved in a lawsuit several years ago over the way it charges service fees. The haggling over exactly how the company would reimburse the customers it overcharged seems to be settled; if you used Ticketmaster's online service between 1999 and 2013, you probably have free tickets waiting for you in your account.

As you could guess by my entries in the "What are you listening to?" thread, I'm a too cool for school type who avoids using Ticketmaster whenever possible, so I don't have any free tickets waiting for me. However, my sister, who attends many more concerts than I do, has nine vouchers for two tickets to use whenever Ticketmaster figures out how to redeem them. Bottom line: go to Ticketmaster's website, and try to log in with any old e-mail address you may have used.

Thanks for the heads-up.  I think I bought football tickets in 2013 through Ticketmaster -- I'll have to check to see if I get free tickets from this.

I wonder how they will decide which concerts are on their list to use the vouchers, probably not the most popular ones

Probably not but would be sweet if they were comparable to past purchase history

They just put the list on through first of December and are supposed to add more concerts through May 2017.  As I thought, the list is putrid, there are a few decent shows but only 14 in the VA/MD/DC area and they are all at the Fillmore in Silver Spring, whoopie.

What? You don't want to see a Lawrence Welk Tribute Band play a Death Metal medley on accordions?

What a joke the vouchers are, besides the crappy concert list, not one of my vouchers worked on any concert.  I even tried concerts in other parts of the country.  Now my $2.25 discount codes work, but you can only use two of those for each concert.

Only good shows I would consider seeing were Steely Dan or Tedeski/Trucks Band.
The rest were bad emo pop or Neo-Punk stuff!
