...and this concludes the 2016 season of outdoor practice. Please join us in March April of 2017 for another exciting season.

The next four months will go by fast (nervous laugh). Yeah, I have plenty of activities planned to keep my mind off of golf...

Denial isn't just another river in Egypt.

Yes, unless I can get out on Tuesday, it looks like the next round will be in 2017.

-16 C (+3 F), 3 inches of snow yesterday. Shovelled the walks and driveway, swung a wedge 100 times indoors. It is over

I hope you get the chance tomorrow Brian. If you're like me, you'll appreciate that last round a little more than usual.

40 degrees is where I draw the line.  I've played in the 30's and I had so many layers on I could hardly swing the club.  And it's got to be a non-windy, dry day in the 40's.  Thankfully the winters here have been pretty mild the past couple of years and I think this one might be too.

Worst case scenario, I've got the SkyTrak and Net Return in my garage all the time and use it for practice just about every night.

So jelly. I want the Foresight but have no where to put it.

A buddy of mine uses his SkyTrak in his garage through the winter and (for the most part) it's pretty darn accurate.  I've found the same with mine too.  For around $1500 you get a LM that is right there with the likes of a GC2, which is thousands more.  So far I've gotten my money's worth from it.

I live in Charlotte so we can usually play year round with few exceptions. A friend of mine once said there are three weather factors that affect golf: rain, wind, and cold. One can play in the absence of any two. However. I won't play if the temp is below about 45*. Also, I won't play in a steady rain unless it starts while I'm late in the round (back nine, say #14). Heat really isn't a problem for me. If it's in the mid to high 90s I might ride versus walk  but I'll play.

I used to play so long as there was no snow on the ground. Now, as I get "older", I draw the line at around 45 degrees, give or take for wind or sun. My enjoyment of the game diminishes signficantly with each layer of clothing I have to put on to play.

Any weather were I am required to wear a thick jacket. I can't stand playing golf with restrictive clothing. What ever allows me to wear my Underarmour and a light jacket. Typically mid 40's depending on the wind.

If the high doesnt get above 40, I typically wont play...however I was the only one on the course last year on a sunny 28* day. Boarding a flight home to Florida for the weekend so I plan on getting in at least 3 rounds. Back in Florida on the 21st so I should be able to get in 5-10 more rounds in 2016, which would put me at 118 posted rounds for the year. Kind of lower than normal...however we couldn't post rounds from Jan to April due to bunker renovation, so I'm probably in the 140's for rounds played.
