TST East Coast Get-Together (w/AimPoint), May 5-7 2017

So, each year I make a trip from Virginia to Golf Evolution in Erie for a meet up with @iacas, at least once and possibly twice. This year I feel like it would be a great benefit if we were able to do have an outing around here (Virginia Beach/DC area). We could have a 5SK school, or an LSW clinic, and a few AimPoint clinics directly in person with @iacas. Of course an 18-hole round will be in the works too. It works out hugely better from cost stand point of view whenever a group is involved and of course, I have never been to a TST outing that has been anything less than a blast.

Possible venues are in the Washington DC area or in the Virginia Beach area and possible dates are May 6-7 because that's a free weekend for @iacas before he goes to Florida for NCAA Nationals for his college team. I have talked to a few members directly and there is already interest. At this point I am gauging interest which can help with planning.

Kindly respond in this thread with interest and eventually more firm plans can follow. Being a TST member is not a pre-requisite at all. PMs are welcome.

P.S. The AimPoint clinics are the most likely thing and the LSW/5SK clinics we will figure out.

I'm one of the guys V has talked to, so I'm definitely in.  We can host this at Stoneleigh again, if that works for everything.  I've contacted our pro, and that weekend works for the club.  I'll be getting our club pro and manager in touch with @iacas in the next couple of days to discuss the potential arrangements for clinics.

Honestly as much as I enjoyed it in those conditions I am looking forward to playing there again that much more.

The snow itself wasn't even that bad. It was that the snow was blowing horizontally at times, and the balls were blowing off the green!

I've had my daughter who you met drive me out that way recently as part of her learning to get her license, and we pulled into some of the streets where I could view the holes. I'm ready to take another crack at it. 

Saw your note on your hole in one. That sounded like the first par 3 on the front 9, correct? I'll never forget your comment after I hit what for me was a decent strike: "oooh, nice shot- you're dead there."

That's the hole.  Golf in general isn't fair, and that hole is even less fair.
