Yeah, y'all know what's up. The One Who Moves the Needle will be teeing it up this week. I'm hoping for 4 consecutive 59s from Tigs and he wins by a bazillion strokes.  Discuss away.

If Tiger makes the cut I would consider that a good first step.  I want to see him stay healthy and contend again.

Regarding the Weiskopf quote: one half of one percent never break 80?  I had no idea that it would be that low.

Playing LCP today.  I know it's been wet out there, but it's perfect today.  I think they tend to overdo the LCP a bit....

But yeah, they do over-do it. But the standard is the standard…

It rained a ton the last two weeks.  Sort of related, my driving range that I like to go to at lunch is still closed.  Also, my back lawn hasn't received any water from sprinklers in 3 weeks and it's a swamp.

EDIT:  Not disagreeing that they overuse LCP, but it is still really, really soggy everywhere around here.

No the first two off the first two holes were more pushes that didn't draw. That was a wiped cut.

What is it with him and that right side miss? Is he really getting his arms down late, or is the face too open at impact, or something else? It's puzzling to me.

      Well, I have a 2 hybrid, 4 hybrid and then play 6 iron onwards.  My best clubs are probably the 4 hybrid and the PW.  What I find is that loft is your friend in general which is why my 4 hybrid is so much better than my 2 hybrid.  Definitely disproportionately more so than the 5 or so degrees of difference in loft.  If you have hybrids, play them.  And consider loft as your friend.  Invariably you will get up to a loft where anything less will not get you more distance because of your club head speed.  Essentially the faster you swing the less lofted a club you can hit effectively.  For me it is probably a 4 hybrid and maybe a 7 iron though I could improve both with practice
