Is it bad that I'm rooting against Grace? Would be weird if a relative no-name had the record.

DJ may join him soon. I think 62s are gonna go down more often now. I mean Day was the first to shoot -20 two years ago and then Stenson shoots it last year. Scoring in golf is getting better and better.

I'm just curious why you would Root against him?  And as I write this he sinks his putt.

62, what a great round of golf. Great scoring conditions today - more to come maybe?

A 62 and a 66 out of that group......solid shit

1) Because rooting doesn't actually impact anything.

2) Because I just saw it happen live and my only reaction was "meh."

He better win tomorrow. Otherwise, "double meh."

I agree with all that, I was just wondering if there was something (an interview or something) that made you dislike him in general.

I wouldn't say Grace is a no name, lol.  He's been a very good players for years now.  As for the scoring, I'm sure Jordan was watching early and knows he better shoot something like 4 or 5 under just to stay in the lead going into tomorrow.  65 or bust.

Callaway XR 9.5 + 1, Taylormade R15 3 Wood, Burner 3 Rescue, Callaway XHot 5H, Warbird 4H, Nike Vapor Fly 6-AW Irons, Titleist Vokey 54, 60 Wedges, Taylormade Rossa Fontana Putter, Srixon Z-Star Tour Yellow.

Best Score 2017:  82 (Traditions at the Glen, Par 70)

Favorite Course - Conklin Players Club (Par 72) - Best Score 86

I don't dislike him. I just don't particularly like or find him interesting him either.

Maybe for 30 more minutes. DJ may go one lower and shoot 61 the way he's going.

This I would definitely root for.

scoring is like the Greater Greensboro Open ( or the US Open {wink} )

bumped, because it is true today ..... without wind & weather the course is almost defenseless.

Danny Willett has the worst round of the day (so far) with a 73 - and it looks like the leaders will need to shoot a 65-66 to stay at the top of the leaderboard

Really though is there any course that isn't when rain softens it up and theres no wind and no bad weather?  The worlds best will tear any course apart in those conditions.  Like the commercial says, these guys are good lol.

Especially now. LIke I said earlier, players are shooting 20-under now in majors. Look what these guys did to a monster of a course in Erin Hills. I think 62s will happen more frequently now. Heck, more guys are starting to shoot 59s...even a 58 went down...in a regular event. I think one day in our lifetime someone will go 59 at a major. The conditions are even there for it today if someone really got hot.

If the weather conditions aren't super windy and borderline garbage, these pros kill these old courses. Today the course is getting arse destroyed. Several guys at 5 under rounds. DJ has a low one going too.

This I would definitely root for.

A lot of pro golfers are like that - not particularly interesting characters. But I still appreciate what he did today.

I'd also like to see DJ go lower - that'd be amazing.

One thing to like is unlike the US Open, the top players in the world are representing this week. Jon Rahm the only player from the top-10 in the world that's not in the Top-14 right now. And the top-4 players right now are all on the first page of the leaderboard.
