So for the period 2019 - 2023 who do you think wins the most majors?
Lots of young talent who have already won 1 (or more)  - Spieth, JT, Koepka
Lots of young talent waiting to break through - Matsuyama, Rahm, Rickie, Fleetwood,
Older guys who have at least 1 major - Rory, JD, DJ, Sergio, Rose,
Older guys who are still looking for their 1st - Noren, Molinari
Someone 40 or older - Phil, Kuch, Stenson

Or - some you kid we've hardly heard of who will burst onto the scene (like Rory or Jordan)

Note:
- Poll closes at the start of the 2018 Masters
- see I told you I'd start a silly thread ;-)

I can't deny the consistency of the top 4 players - Jordan Spieth, Dustin Johnson, Rory and Jason Day. Dustin Johnson is 33 years old. He might have the ideal athletic build to last a while. He doesn't look like he's 33 years old. The rest of them are under 30 years old.

You are talking about 20 majors. I am going with Spieth. He's young, and he's shown the consistency in 3 out of the 4 majors. I can see him winning 3-4 majors over the next 5 years. I don't see another golfer putting up that type of consistency.

I voted for Spieth, giving him the benefit of doubt. However, in reality, I think it's going tog be a "parity" type thing. Lots of first time winners, with a few multiple winners thrown in from time to time.

Of the next 20 majors, I don't see one player winning more than 2, maybe 3 tournaments. I just don't see the hunger like a young Tiger Woods before he ran into his own personal problems.

Do you mean 2018-2022? Those would be the next 5 years.

I voted for Spieth simply because he is the most consistent and still think he's got areas to improve his game. He's going to always contend in the Masters and could easily win 3 of those in the next 5 years. He very nearly won 3 in a row and then was also in contention through 3 rounds this past year.

Outside of Spieth, it's anyone's guess. So many of those other young guys have talent and go on a run and get hot. But it's hard to guess who that guy would be. It could be a guy who's still in college right now.

I would guess 3 is the max someone will win, have no bloody clue who that is. I care much more that they're not borefests.

I think that Rahm and Koepka could possibly make a run.   Each has the game to compete...

For whatever reason I said Rory. I'm sure if you ask me again in an hour I'd change my answer.

We haven't gotten to see Rory play without any lingering injury this year, and he was still one of the best players from tee to green. My money is on him. And no, it's not just cause he happens to be my profile picture!!!

These who's gonna dominate questions make me ask this hypothetical. How many majors would McIlroy or Spieth have won if they started in 1997? Who knows, interesting to speculate.
