It's been nice here too, yeah. I wonder how much of it is from the hurricanes.

Was thinking that too. Love the warm weather and all that, but cold weather and no hurricanes are fine with me, thank you.

Not as much as you think. Hurricane have little impact on our average temperatures or amount of rain.

Actually our weather patterns (how low jet stream is, where the high pressures are or low pressures are at) significantly influence the hurricanes. Example, the reason Harvey was so devastating is because a front stalled the hurricane over Houston, and actually pushed it back into the gulf. If that front was slower getting to the Houston area, or was not there, then Harvey would have went north east pretty fast.

And yet it has rained every time I wanted to go play these last few weeks. Go figure.

It's going to be 80 bloody degrees tomorrow. ... I guess the upside is that its kept the leaves in the trees a bit longer than usual. Some of the area courses are better about clearing those than others.

Gonna be 80 on Sunday, then a high of 57 on Monday.

It's been nice here in S/W CT.. still in shorts and usually I have to remove the pullover to short sleeves by the 5th hole.

This coming week is suppose to be sunny and around 60* at the start of the week and 70* towards the end of the week... 5 more days of nice golf weather for me.

I played today and had to fight off gnats. Gnats. On October 15th.

The high today was close to 80°F and tomorrow it's only supposed to get to 64°F. Weird weather.

It has been a really odd few weeks weather wise in upstate New York as well.  Today temps got back up to 76 with a crazy winds of 25 - 30 mph.

Not only played in shorts but on one of the par 5's with the wind at my back caught it absolutely perfect off the tee and launched the ball about 50 yards further than I ever have!

In my bag: Lazrus everything with R flex

I don't believe I'm in the NE Corridor, but I do live in NE Ohio and the weather has been great. We're getting some rain today and tomorrow is supposed to be in the mid 50's, which is about right for this time in October. Then it's supposed to go right back up into the 70's, so it looks like more golf this week!

Yeah. I think it just turned out here in SW Ohio. We never got the rain predicted, but the winds have been howling since I came off the course this morning. I'll be wearing a sweater to dinner.
