Just dawned on me after, Nobilo made a comment about a "different energy" in the final group, that with Tiger in the field, I think a strong argument can be made that it's EASIER for the newbie in the final group because his crowds will be undoubtedly smaller than they would otherwise be if Tiger wasn't here.  It'll have a little more of a "weekday" or "web.com" feel that might keep him more comfortable.

Yeah, but at the same time, the crowds right in FRONT of him are big, and they'll often be moving around, etc. He's only one group back. If Tiger was four groups ahead, I think you'd have a stronger case.

Nothing, but the holier-than-thou types care about that stuff. And whatever, to each their own. I've tried not to care too much about the lives of sports people outside of sports. I don't look at them as anything more than talented guys who often worked hard. I don't think they're good people because they can hit a baseball or throw a football or whatever.

I think they can be role models for working hard at something. But beyond that… nah.

In a span of two minutes, Tiger chips in, Brandt holes a putt, Rose flies in an eagle from the fairway, and someone else holes a long putt to get to -6. What a span of time there!

Tiger definitely still moves the needle for me.  Only he, Phil, and Rory would make me alter the structure of my day like has happened last weekend and this weekend.

I can see that - good point. At this point, Tiger doesn't him to fall back any more...he's making his own way

Ask Marty2019, he's the one that brought it up; left a huge matsa ball out there that he had to know someone would respond to.
