Things tightening up is really good for the weekend. The course is playing pretty tough right now. It will be interesting to see where the lead is when the morning wave starts finishing. But, it means if you're a couple over par right now, if you can get it back to E or -1 or -2, you're right in there.

Watching Jordan puts me on edge.

No doubt he is one of the most amazing talents to come along since Rory.  Ever, really.

But that anti-left swing is hard to watch, especially when it results in him hanging driver out to the right most of the time.  6 shots right, 1 pull as an overcompensatory move, one down the middle, 6 more right, repeat...

That grip, that swing, that chicken wing.. something very traumatic must have happened to him as a  young child involving a hook.

I don't think that's accurate.

The Live from the Masters group is puzzled too as to why today is playing so tough. Light winds, good temperatures, relatively good hole locations…

Fowler T1. Plenty of time for him to screw that up.

Yeah, I'm confused as to why the scoring is so high as well... Greens look quick, but then, don't they always? Pins looked favourable, so I still think anyone could make a run.

Phil had to take an unplayable on 9 and go back to his original spot because his ball hit a tree coming out of the trees. Lying 4, and making a 7 would be good. 6 seems impossible. This could be a huge, huge number.

Strangely, that first shot out of the trees didn't seem that hard. The gap seemed pretty wide when they showed it on his second attempt.

      Some sway is okay as long as you get your weight going forward during transition and downswing. Your weight will go towards the rear foot in the backswing because your arms and club go that way. As you get near the top, you should feel your weight start to move forward. As you transition, the weight should move to the front foot and off the rear. As the arms go down from the top, the body starts to rotate or pivot. At impact, most of the weight should be on the front foot.

      Sounded like he had the option hit a new ball if he didn’t like the shot, playing scramble with himself. Hitting a new ball meant using an option, which locked him in to that option, but for the hole or round? And what were the options?

      Day 27: Continued working on top of backswing piece. It was almost dark so didn’t really care about hitting balls so just used Almost Golf balls. Would have liked to film and compare to lesson footage but not enough light.

      Day 303: worked on chipping for a while indoors. Chipped into my chipping game with foam balls, worked on lower chips there. Did mirror work both with chips and pitches, checking that everything looks okay.
