I think it ends on the 16th hole, with Tiger winning 3&2.

But I don't really care as long as it's entertaining.

The result of the round will not change how I view their careers even the tiniest little bit.

Agree. I hope there is a lot of fun banter between them too. It should be fun and I am not going anywhere near a store that day anyway.

I think it’d be awesome to have Samuel Jackson and Pat Perez announcing the round in the ‘Muppets Judges’ style.

Caddying! Samuel L would be an awesome caddy.

"You are NOT going to try that M-fing shot!"

"Someone get those M-fing Patrons off the M-fing fairway!"

"Yo! Phil! What's in YOUR wallet? $9 Million???"

I think this would have been cool to do like they did i think around 99 with woods and duval. Wide world of sports special. But then again the censorless aspect of PPV will be fun if they actually talk a little $hit.

I am trying to understand why I have absolutely no interest in this match. I am a golf addict, stay glued to The Golf Channel, watch all the tours but from the moment I heard about this I have had no interest. I like both Tiger and Phil. I thought as we got closer I would become more interested.  I used to watch the Shell Wonderful World of Golf as a child and enjoyed it.  I guess it seems to me we have seen this match-up 4 times a year for years in the major championships. I would like to get excited about it. Is there something I am missing?

I wonder if LaCava will have a Poker Stars hat on or something else.  It is Vegas.  😀

I was in the same boat.  I think the reason why I'm more interested now is because it isn't about the golf match.  The golf side of it is meh because there's nothing really new and not worth spending $20 for.  But, I think it's about listening to their conversations and talking crap to one another, hopefully the whole round, that makes it worth it.  You rarely get this deep into the minds of professional golfers as they play, especially two golfers with such a history/rivalry.

No.

And my thoughts exactly as well.

    • Hi @RetiredOldMan!  I am glad to see you are still playing and having good scores.  I hope that when I am 79, I am not only able to play, but still able to produce as good scores as you have been doing.   I look forward to hearing more of your success and your opinion of the senior flex shafts.
    • Hello Golfing Buddies, It has been awhile since I posted but I am the Retired Old Man that asked for advice because I suffered two "T.I.A.'s about switching from playing right handed to playing left handed.  I purchased a Callaway Edge Left handed golf clubs. I changed the grips to oversize grips.  Well, two weeks ago and still at 79 years old, I shot a 44 and 47 on a small course in my hometown.  I am currently changing my shafts from regular flex to Senior flex.  So, you can see' it can be done! So, you other old timers; get with the program! Blessings to all of you. Retired Old Man (Terry Warner)

    • Probably since the golfer has to swing the club back and up. The hands have to move back and up. You can feel them go back and up just by turning the shoulders and bending the right arm, because it brings your hands towards your right shoulder.  The difference is if you maintain width or not. Less width means a shorter feeling swing path so the more you need to lift the arms. Being as someone who gets the right arm bend at 110+ degrees, it's 100% a timing issue. I am use to like a 1.5+ second backswing. It probably should be like 1 second at most. Half a second or more will feel like an eternity. I have had swings where I keep my right arm straighter and I am still trying to time the downswing based on the old tempo.  Ideally, for me, it is probably going to be a much quicker and shorter (in duration) backswing, while keeping the right elbow straighter. Which also means more hinging to get swing length without over swinging.
