Watching the Open this weekend, I felt myself rooting against all of the LIV players. So that's my answer.

Well played, sir.

Its interesting, before LIV I never actively rooted against any golfer.  I didn't hope someone would miss the cut.  I didn't hope someone would miss a putt, or hit a ball in the water, or make any sort of mistake.  There were guys I didn't like as much (Sergio and Patrick Reed headlined that list, so I guess they're my villains?), but I never specifically hoped they'd fail.  I'd hope other guys would do better, I always had the mindset that golf was hard, mistakes hurt, and it always felt wrong to try to will that on someone else.

Now with the LIV guys, I don't seem to have that mindset anymore.  I don't send ill will towards any OTHER guys, but I absolutely found myself rooting against them.  May they all get an infinite supply of fried eggs in bunkers

I’m thinking the Tadpole! Greggy Norman is now on the top of my list. What a DB this guy is.

Used to be Sabbatini, Reed, Garcia, Poulter for reasons you probably know.

These days there's a bunch more being led by Greg Norman. I suppose you can guess the reason there as well.

When I was watching the first round of The Open, I swear every time they showed a shot by LIV players they hit a bad one. I didn't even see Phil on the screen a single time.

Patrick Reed will always be villain #1 to me because he cheats. Going to LIV just adds to it.

LIV really hoovered up a lot of the A holes. Another vote for any LIV player, and of course Fish Fingers Norman.
