Anyone playing golf today?

List of the 9 most difficult golf courses in America. Have you played any of these courses? Only one I've played is Spyglass.

Hit the range hard this morning before the rain came.  Played yesterday and shot a 41 on the front 9.  Couldn't play the last due to the weather.

Happy 4th! Spending the day grilling, eating and drinking with the famiglia....

Played none of the above. Came close to playing Whistling Straits once (2005) but ended up playing Blackwolf Run (River) instead. I think the difficulty of any of these would have been lost on me back then as would just shoot 115-120 no matter where I played. :-D

Happy birthday to the good o'l U,S of A.

I've been to PGA West a few times and played the Palmer private course a couple of times with friends before and after the Bob Hope Classic.

The 4th is usually a couples event at our club.

Rough crowd playing with the Senior Couples today, I shoot even par and don't win squat.

At least their all gracious and buy me a few brewski's for my efforts.

Never played any of those courses. The closest one I could play at would be Bethpage Black, and I'd shoot myself in the foot there ;-)

I have not played any of them unfortunately. No golf yesterday. But a great time sitting around a fire. I played guitar and sang for friends while fireworks were going off in all directions. It was really cool.

I've played Whistling Straits and PGA West, and just yesterday got to play Pinehurst #2.  After 76-77 at Talamore and MidSouth, my 47-39 was a rude awakening, but still lot of fun.  Today we have MidPines, another Donald Ross gem.  Honestly, the most difficult course I've played in the US is in Hawaii, at Ko'olao,

I'm like half an hour away from the course but much farther away in ability to play there.
