Bad round

Read a book on golf psychology. Then you'll realize this round has 0 meaning on anything in your golf game, just trust your swing and know you're better.

Also, I doubt you had the WORST round ever...

i know your feeling.  I often have very bad moments in my round and get aggravated just because  i know i can do a-lot better!  What happened during this round that was so bad?  tempo off, bad drives? give us something!

Good players have bad rounds, but great players forget all about them.

Try some gravy. Gravy makes everything better.

Or add bacon.

Maybe add a little Matt Every to your game.

You think you had a bad round! I lost NINE fecking golf balls on the weekend...NINE!!! Do you have ANY idea how much those golf balls cost me? No...neither do I so when you find out let me know :)

Rest in the knowledge, like I do, that there is always someone somewhere having a worse round of golf than you are! :)

To the OP, it's just one round. I once shot a 123. You put it behind you, remember what good happened while out there and move forward. All you can do really.

I feel your pain. Went out today and played a nice long course for a change and my usually reliable driver utterly deserted me. I'll be back. [/terminator]

Yesterday, I had the worst session at the driving range ever.....pitching practice was great however. Gotta take the good with the bad I guess or quit.

Well my old pro used to say:

If you make birdie your doing great

if par . your in good shape

if bogey well you have to concentrate better

id double or worse you need to see me.

I probably had the worst round off golf to this weekend at competition, could not get the ball in play with driver or 3 wd, even not with my hybrid 2 iron.

morning round i still tried to hit it well with driver, but i would give my self a compliment if i say the balls where hooking, so far left......

Afternoon round i was at the range for a few balls still the same hooking massively. irons where ok in the morning so i put the driver and 3 wood in the car.

I was really nailing my 3 iron every single teeshot. hit them flush about 230 yards. Pissing my opponent off when my 3 iron ended up further than his 3wd.

came down to an 7-6 win for me. Only bad thing was i struggled to get my long irons on the green. chipping and pitching was good so i was fine. Last hole i was

at a 410 yrd par 4 and hit my 3 I off the tee, leaving me a 190 yrd in, hit a bad 5 iron into greenside front bunker. got my 58 wedge and holed out. taking the win with

me.

So what you should do is find a way to get the ball in play not in woods or water.

Welcome to the game of golf.  Until you reach the point where you're a very consistent player, you'll often find yourself faced with this situation.  I can go out one day and play a decent game (for me) - go out the next day and play like I've never touched a golf club before.  One day your driver is on fire but you can't putt a lick, next day you're sinking every putt on the green but you can't hit a decent shot off the tees to save your life.  Play golf for as long as you live and you'll never master it - that's part of the intrigue of the game.
