How so?

Because until they show something, they're still just the Browns.

Maybe they will this year, but… until then, I'm calling it a stretch that they're going to jump over the Steelers and Ravens.

Realistically Pittsburgh will probably be a few wins better than the Browns, but I'm not convinced about Baltimore. I think the Browns have both a better offense and defense than the Ravens. The Ravens lost a lot on defense, (Terrell Suggs, CJ Mosley, and Eric Weddle) have a pretty weak pass rush, and I'd much rather have Baker Mayfield over Lamar Jackson.

I think the Ravens are going to be a top 5 unit like they were last year,

In the division????😜

Wanna laugh?

How about those Lions?  One playoff win since 1957 and every year will be "the" year.   You could put the Patriots in the Lions uniforms and they would go 6-10.   Bobby Layne jinx.  The Curse is real but that was over 60 years ago.

The Raiders and Jon Gruden need a shrink.

Boring game I know, but it’s good to see a solid defensive performance out of the Pack tonight

That was a good win!

Watching the 1st quarter of the game tonight, I thought I wasted that pitcher of beer, fingers, and fries. However, the rest of the game, the second pitcher, and the jalapeno poppers was much more enjoyable.

Go Packers!!!!!

And to make matters worse for the Lions, the starting center for the Patriots is Ted Karras. Yes those Karras'!

Chicago's offense looked terrible. The Packers are still trying to figure things out with a new coach, but they have veterans that can make plays and did last night.

The Bears spent too much time pounding their chests after each tackle on D.

If it works that well for the Bears why knock it.

Nothing I saw last night made me question the decision to bench Rogers this week, but it could have been even worse. Just a couple of really big plays made a big difference along with no turnovers or he would have been single digits.

Glad I won't be seeing that Chicago defense for a while.

Remember, Rodgers didn’t take a single snap in the preseason.  They did ok against a very good defense.

No question.

Plus you got the new coach and the new system, so a little more time and little less Chicago should make it all better. AR will surely be back in the lineup next week.

Totally forgot that Gary Moeller coached the Lions. 4-3 record at that. One of very few to have a winning record with the Motor City Kitties.

Yep.  Best defense has been in years, but Chicago’s QB isn’t the greatest, but defense made him look bad too, let’s hope they keep it up

Well... the Falcons have talked about being more physical this season.

Can't run block.  Can't pass block.  Can't even block on punts.  Can't tackle either.  Going to be a long season.

But hey... at least we're not the Dolphins.  42-3 with time left in the first half.  Ouch.

Will be interesting to see how AB works out with the Patriots. Belichick won’t put up with his nonsense off the field trouble.

It isn't often that the Lions (my home town side) make it this far into the season undefeated.

    • 26 Nov 24 -  It was not a record breaking round by any means, but rather a simple walking of the back nine today playing TBWB (two ball-worse ball) where the challenge is to play the worse of the two shots played - could be an errant drive from the woods, a tree knocked ball that is 100 yds farther back down the fairway, a nGIR ball as opposed to a GIR….the goal today was to stay no worse than bogie thru nine.  Managed to achieve that goal - bogied 7 holes with one dbl and one par to counter the dbl.  It’s about staying focused and not letting a bad shot or lie derail, but rather be an opportunity.
    • Day 208 (26 Nov 24)- Opted to walk 9 today (was the back nine as they had a huge group going off the front) but instead of it being persimmons and blades, I had the regular gamers but made it a TBWB (two ball-worst ball) round.  This really challenges on several fronts - ball striking to be as consistent as possible, course management from non-optimal lies and keeping your head in it as it can be depressing to nail a shot on line-on target and the second rattles the trees right and it’s over 50 yards back and that’s the one you have to play.  The goal was to be no worse than bogie overall (+9).  Finished the round exactly on the number with some solid recoveries, no penalty strokes and only one 3-putt.
