Rickys tapp? Do you really think it matters! How come all those who do mark it are not winning the tournament? Very rarely have I seen a tapp in miss anyway!

btw: am I the only one or do you also see pros drag the ball into the hole?

I don’t see the connection? Homophobe! Pink is female not gay!

Pink is a color. It has no gender.

Crazy Maybe it’s just me!

ya think?

Have you seen Koepka's story about the children with cancer?   Justin Thomas wearing  shoes designed by a young cancer survivor? A lot of the players really do care.

What they don't care about is what you think about the way they dress.   Most are getting sponsor money to advertise a product.

Maybe it’s just me but there’s things on tour that drives me nuts, like pga live at the end of the round on Sunday with 2 golfers tied and 2 holes to play says coverage has ended or pga tour live not covering the majors! But thier ads say subscribe and “never miss a shot”!
caddies constantly uncovering and covering clubs, and what’s the deal with a cover for the putter? It’s practically indestructible! Or on a par 3 handing the golfer a putter on the tee?
and these crazy putter grips, brysons long handle putter? Lefties? There always on the wrong side of the ball, and dropping from the knee is so gay looking? And pink clothes? That’s a violation of man law! Yes wear the stupid pink ribbon to show you really care, “they really don’t” about Breast cancer! Or whatever cause they have pretend to believe in this week! But don’t wear pink clothes, and ugly caps, shoes etc! And marking the ball when your within 5 inches of the cup? Just tap out! Get it over with! Or the guy that has a two foot put and has to pull out and consult the book? Crazy Maybe it’s just me!

I applaud your self-awareness.

But then again, what the hell do I know?

If I have a tee time? It will rain!

if there’s ladies present I’ll make a lousy shot every time!

If I hit the fairway my ball will end up in a divot!

if there is a water hazard my ball always wants to take a bath!

if there is a bunker my ball will find it!

if the green is in perfect condition I will 3 putt!

did I forget anything?

who was Murphy anyway?

Going my way film has some golf, lots of fresh air on the golf course and profanity too!

Jeeves and Wooster is my favorite! Several episodes have golf, in one he has an adjustable iron, that would drive the rules purists nuts!

While I will admit to never watching or reading anything by that teacher, I will always be automatically skeptical of an instructor that preaches an effortless driver swing, effort is needed to swing a club 115-130+ mph simple as that.

it’s a figure of speach!
It’s called an effortless swing cos the goal is not to hit the ball or try to kill it!
but a style of finesse. The goal is to perform a beautiful effortless swing!
the ball simply gets in the way!

one piece takeaway, lag, square the club face, follow thru facing the target!

    • Interesting discussion. Consider this; we spend 95% of our open eyed life perceiving everything in a front view. That's what we are/become good at. Our eyes/brain don't develop an accurate  sideways aiming system. Plus our perception 'bends' based on shape of the hole, slope, etc. Anyway, I pick a spot 5 feet in between the ball and target and set up my toes parallel to it. That's it. From 150 yards out Im off by 2 feet. Big whoop. You can try to compensate for it, but unless you are good at changing aim in 0.01 degree increments, chances are you will overcompensate.
