Good question. Because I was thinking the same thing. 
I like the single elimination excitement. But I'm open to others' opinions on the subject.

Yeah, it was something watching that shaft vibrate from the forces involved. Pretty amazing.

I hope he learns some self control before he screws up and hurts somebody (unless it's himself he hurts, of course).

I don't mind watching the extra golf but it almost feels to me like what we're seeing is mostly a putting match. I personally usually like watching drives and approach shots more than putting. On the other side of that coin - it's kind of fun when they get to 18 all tied up and everything depends on the putt.

Apparently, Dustin Johnson picked up a putt before Kevin Na conceded it. Kevin let him off the hook.

Seems like a non issue to me for everybody. If you’re a pro playing match play, don’t pick up your ball. It’s really not that hard.

I saw it live. DJ blundered on this one and I think he was embarrassed but didn’t let on. NA was completely correct and very sporting to let DJ off the hook.

How do you like Sergio holing out on the 4th playoff hole against Lee Westwood? If you have to lose that's the way it should happen! That was a good match.

I'd never want to be an announcer.  Half of announcing is guesswork.  The other half is making up BS to fill space.  And the third half is trying to come up with a good Yogi Berra line.

Some good matches today. I liked seeing some of the club choices made in different situations. Sergio is out. Sorry,@Vinsk. 😉 Also not to sorry to see Rahm gone. Going to be an interesting day tomorrow, I think.
