I didn't say this Ryan Fox person doesn't play outside of NZ, I said he's unknown outside of NZ.

Literally have never heard of him before. Nobody's mentioned him in the Presidents Cup run-up, etc.

Right yes well certainly not well know PGA player etc I watch a good amount of DP world tour .... he's played in 6x British opens along with a few PGA Majors .. he will need to do better than his 16th at Royal Portrush to get much attention ..

We know Norman is on the high end of the narcissism spectrum but it still amazes me how deep his head is up his ass.

Immelman's reaction is precious..:-))

The field isn't too appealing, unfortunately.

Not a big deal for me as It's not an event I pay too much attention to anyway , but what worries me is that if majors start to look like this (adding in the handful of good Europeans on the PGAT), it's going to kill them.

I think you missed a pretty damn good PC. The internationals had some shining players come to the forefront and will likely boost their careers. It was quite entertaining I thought. 😃

@Vinsk I couldn’t agree with you more. Those young guys showed something special on the world stage. Not for money but for the love and pride of the game.

I wonder what the outcome would have been if there was a ladies' President Cup. Seems like the Internationals would be tough to beat on that one.

The 2024 Solheim Cup will be played in September of 2024 at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Virginia. Exact dates to be announced later ...

I think the International team would destroy the Americans. I have not seen a lot of LPGA so I may not be the best to answer that, just a gut feeling based off remembered leaderboards.

It is. European women < International.

U.S. would get creamed.

    • I’d go with the Titleist if you liked the look of the blades but were suffering with distance. They should be a little more forgiving than a full blade and still retain some workability. Also remember to consider the shafts each have as this will be a big contributor to how they feel. Clemsonfan is right though… get fit or spend a bit of time on a launch monitor 🤙
    • Day 28: 2026.01.30 Managed to make time for a few swings out back today. Need a proper bit of range time this weekend.
    • Day 30, 1/30.  Six minutes this morning hitting a few more range balls, indoors, off a mat, into the net.  Did this before leaving the house.

    • Hi All my New Year’s resolution was to start playing golf again. I’ve caught the bug and am really enjoying hitting balls at a couple of my local ranges.looking forward to getting back out on courses in the spring. Based in the UK and 38 years old, I’ve been playing since I was a kid. Best handicap I’ve held is 2 in my mid 20s. Over the past 10 years I’ve played once or twice a year, sometimes with friends or for work. Could shoot 4-5 over, but just as easily shoot 15-20 over. I’ve moved to South Wales and am very lucky to be near some world class links courses, which gives me even more motivation to get playing again! I will start looking for a local coach in my area when I have more time to invest, but I recalled scouring this forum a few years ago and finding some good tips and advice so wanted to give it a try to see if there were any glaring issues I could fix in the meantime!  A few swings below… one from 1st week Jan and one from today. I have fixed my P1 takeaway to my liking and am now working on what I see as pretty severe early extension & hip thrust. Also terrible hip rotation. I’d like confirmation that this is indeed a problem and and suggestions on a few good drills. Thanks for reading 🙂 I've been Playing Golf for: 30+ years My current handicap index or average score is: 10ish over My typical ball flight is: mid The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: push right with irons, hooks and push with driver!  Videos:
