@nevets88, what did you think of this week’s episode of Westworld? Still boring? 😜

Nailed It! season 4 is out on Netflix. I love this show.

That’s funny. I was thinking of asking you what you thought of the latest episode. The show got me, would have never have guessed the reveal. Always there for Maeve scenes. Good episode.

Overall I liked it. There are a couple of things it seems like the show is setting up and I'm going to be disappointed if they happen. I'll put them in spoilers, just in case:

Spoiler

Musashi didn't cut out Maeve's pearl? That's convenient. Serac will be able to recover her and fix her up, which is going to bite Dolores in the ass.

Caleb is Jesse Pinkman. He's going to go along with Dolores for a while until she crosses a line at some point and then betray her because he is ultimately a decent human being and a "good" guy. Aaron Paul portrays the character well, but Hollywood loves its typecasting.

I can definitely see those two happening. I already forgot the trailer for the whole season so I have no clue where this is going, I like that.

Oh yeah. The Bernard and Stubbs scenes are good.

Just got done watching Picard. I will give it a tap in Birdie. I really enjoyed the first season (I assume they might do a second for now).

I think there are some new Discovery shorts too.

McMillion$ a great documentary on the McDonald’s Monopoly fraud.

Yeah it was hilarious, too. Especially:

  • The one FBI agent. I kept wondering if he was the actual agent. What a goof!
  • How light the sentences were. WTF?

Definitely! When he wore the gold suit to meet with McDonald’s reps! WTF? Love to sit and have a beer with that guy.

Finished Devs, the ending was satisfying, I wouldn't say it was great as some thought.

Finished The Plot Against America. Relevant, riveting, recommend.

Finished War of the Worlds. Story did not advance as much as I thought. It's not a miniseries. More seasons?

Finished Ramy. The ending was ewwwwww.

Started Mrs America. So many holes in my history/current events.

Started Killing Eve. Cat and mouse chase is on again.

Just finished the newest season of Bosch.  I really love the way the stories thread together, and it makes me want to read the books.  It sucks that the season is just ten episodes, because we finished it in three nights.  Can't wait for a new season to drop.

Madison Lintz, the girl who plays Maddie Bosch, is from about 20 minutes away from where we live.

My wife and I both are big fans of Midsomer Murders. We recently subscribed to Britbox as they took it off Netflix several months ago. I also loved Justified that was originally on FX. We streamed it on Prime last summer.

Why I keep watching "Better Call Saul" I have no idea. The show f***ing goes nowhere. It's like Vince Gilligan is just slowly pleasing himself, and screw everyone trying to watch the show.

Oy. It's no Breaking Bad. Not even close. It kinda sucks.

A lot of people I discuss tv with love this show.  I appreciate the artistry in its slow burn, but I’m with you on this one.

Can't possibly be as bad as "The Room".

I only recently finished breaking bad and I loved Saul’s character, I thought I must get around to watching this but maybe I’ll give it a miss now

I keep waiting for the moment when it's all worth it, but he's JUST turned into Saul and it's been five seasons. He's JUST now started doing more than selling cell phones.

It's very boooooring.

You're looking for the 1.5X button, aren't you? Lol.

Finished:

Kingdom - Not crazy about the zombie action, more interested in political angle.

Plot Against America - Take me, Canada. Please.

Now watching:

Mrs America - a history lesson for me.

Perfectly Normal - going to try and read the book.

PBS Roosevelt doc (Burns, 2014) - more history.

Run - will binge it all at the end probably.

Westworld - it's a mess.

My Brilliant Friend - Great adaptation of book.

    • You’re right. Interesting. I ordered mine just a month ago and Mitsubishi was an option which I see is no longer listed.
    • Went 6 days with no golf due to course closures here at Pinehurst. Played #8 today and surprisingly played well, 12/14 fairways, 9 GIR and 29 putts. 39/38 for a 77. The Groundskeepers built a snowman on the Par 5 6th. A few fairways still had some snow in some locations but the course was playable. Good to get out again.   But more snow is possible this Friday into Saturday.
    • Bill Haas could hit it 25 yards farther, but hates seeing the ball get really high up in the air. He feels like he has very little control over it when it gets up there.
    • Finished Spider-Man and Miles Morales. What fun games. The web slinging through the city lives up to the hype as well as knowing what it's like to have the powers of Spider-Man and the fights never got old. The story for S-M and MM were both very good and they got a lot of details of Manhattan right, although the map was off. Almost finished with God of War and did not expect it to be so good. Having your son along the whole way enhances the story so much. Next up will be Death Stranding and then Bloodborne probably. Going through the Playstation exclusives.
    • Does this answer it for you? FlightScope Speed & Acceleration Profiles - Launch Monitor, Golf Ball Tracking | Golf Simulators | FlightScope.com Find out why FlightScope golf launch monitors' speed & acceleration profiles are huge for club fitting. Check our sample data sets to see it for yourself. Or this? Oh, I gotcha now. The stand has some nice features, but mainly… I can note what notch creates a tilt of 12°, or 17° as preferred by Awesome Golf, or 16° or whatever… and then put the back leg in those notches without needing the tool. I can also do this more easily on uneven floors — in either direction — to adjust for the tilt or roll of the floor itself. If my floor slopes down and to the left, 12° with the tool won't be 12° and level with the Mevo+, so I can use the screw legs to adjust the Mevo+ to be 12°/0°.
