Bought 13 grips. I do need to change my grips soon-ish, so I'm taking the plunge.

Sad to see them go. I went ahead and bought a full set of the DXT Combo grips.

That’s too bad, and sad that making high quality products could be the reason. I’ve loved the grips ever since I put them on and hopefully still got more years with them. Haven’t wore a glove a single time either.

I totally agree, I just ordered a set because I'll never be able to get them again but I've no idea why, I can't seem to get the set I'm currently using to wear out. Crazy quality

I actually bought a set and a half. DTX Midsize are the bomb. 💣

The extra half set is for replacing clubs. ... like wedges and what not.
That might be all the grips I'll need for pert near the rest of my golf life.

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

By the time I looked, they only had neon green and purple DTX Midsize.😝 I love them, but not enough for those colors.

My favorite is actually blue.

Those were gone. But I was able to get some grey, some white and some red.

That should work fine, but I will miss the blue.

Unfortunately it does seem like they just made a product that lasts too long to have repeat business year over year. I have had my midsize wrap grips on for a few years and they still are very fresh. I don't really play much golf these days, but even when I did I was amazed how durable these were. I purchased an extra set just so I would have them on hand when I need them later on.  I am very sad to hear this news, nobody I am aware of can even compare to their products.

Yeah, I took my set of grips off my old clubs and cut off brand new NDMCs from the factory to put on 5 year old PURES because they're that good. It doesn't matter if any wear happens because the rubber underneath is still good. Remarkable product.

I forgot to mention I got my grips the other day.

I now have 20 Pure Midsize DTX grips resting comfortably in my closet waiting to be needed.

My expectation is that will last me quite a while.

I convinced the other guys in my group to give Pure a try with the 50% off, so they all ordered at least one set. Good thing the grips last a long time since they won't be able to get new ones.

    • the rules have changed, but this would fall under 11.2 in the current rules.  General Penalty to any player who deliberately deflects a ball in motion, and you must replay the putt.
    • Day 250 4-29 Getting chest through with speed on downswing and wrist arch. Also worked on some moving the pelvis slightly away in the backswing. Feel like im going too fast and long, looks like it on the recordings too.
    • Interesting that it's no penalty, but then again, I can't imagine someone would purposefully put their foot out there in this situation or one like it.  And then there was the time someone purposefully deflected his own ball during a major, but that's very different too. The only time I can recall a ball I hit hitting another player or their equipment was ages ago -- over a decade and a half ago.  I had a 3' putt for an 89 and someone (a random pairing, not someone I knew) decided it was a good time for goaltending practice.  That wouldn't fall under this rule, though (and it wasn't in a tournament anyway). Thanks for continuing to share these, Dave!  I always find these interesting.
    • Day 51 (29 Apr 26) - Worked with a few of the golf team kids plus my grandson (he’s too young for the team as it’s middle-high school age and he’ll be 10 Sat).  He put on a small hitting clinic (hitting off the same tees as the rest of the boys) - one of the older kids called him a “coach”.  Worked in a few shots for myself - had the light bag: driver, 7w, 4 - 6 - 8 - Pw - Sw (DCI 962’s except the Sw a 981) and Zebra putter….got in some great tee shots, a couple of recovery and an awesome up and down for bogie: 55 yds out, hitting 4th shot due to 2nd getting tangled in limbs - see the window I need to hit for a tight spinner with the Sw - nail it to a postage letter distance from the cup for a tap in bogie….my kind of practice.
    • Day 21, April 29.  Before going to work this morning, I worked in my indoor practice room for 20 minutes.   This was entirely 6-iron shots with the usual step.  Video yesterday showed me that I'm still straightening my trail leg too much (leading to the backswing length issue I've been working to fix), so I focused on not doing that in my rehearsal swings.
