I received mine in the mail today.  Can't put it down.

Damn, I knew Erik's PURE grips retained tackiness for over a year, but I didn't realize it carried over to the books one reads.

25 copies???? You have way more friends than I would ever want :)

I'm going to be fairly careful about who I give a copy to. I want the person to actually read the book. This day and age, that might take a while.

That's a good way of going about it.. It is not like you are in a rush to do it either.. This will always make a great gift for someone you know loves golf!

Why does that book look like it's only about 10 pages thick?

Mine is still wandering around in the heartland, I presume ... it still just says "Your item departed our WARRENDALE, PA 15095 sort facility on June 19, 2014 at 3:27 am. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later."

It does look just like the cover. Golfingdad what do you think of the 2nd paragraph on page 35? Oh wait you don't have it yet. ha ha

It's the best paragraph in the history of books. Oops. Sorry. That was probably a bit insensitive to @golfingdad . =P

That's OK.  I'll be thoroughly consoled when I get my copies and open the book to find my name in them. :-P

No big deal ... he only got the cover! :-P   I'm secretly hoping that Newman is @jamo 's mailman and, therefore, I can get mine Tuesday, while his is in a storage locker somewhere, and I can tell him to "suck it!!!"

You are quoted in the book?

LOL, I hope not ... because the instructional value will drop dramatically. :-P (But I was promised a "thank you" in there somewhere with my early indiegogo order - along with several of the rest of you, of course. )

Not really. You need to have examples of what NOT to do in an instructional book. =P

Nice, my copy is is town but USPS says it's still out for delivery. I have no idea what time the mail comes.

So, mine got delivered at 4:30 but I'm still at work (going on 11+ hours yay!) so haven't been able to hold it in my grubby hands yet. :(

Mine reached and left Jacksonville this afternoon - I would guess it gets here before the Tuesday estimate, but a lot would have to go right for me to get it tomorrow.

At least you can get your grubby hands on yours. I think I saw the mailman reading mine today.

    • this topic brought to mind one my favorite golf-spectator memories. Back when, living in Santa Barbara CA, parked in my yellow cab just behind the 10th tee  (c. 380 yard par 4) at SB Muni golf course while eating lunch. A twosome comes by, and first up is this fat little mexican guy who takes a kinda squirelly practice swing, then addresses the ball and bashes a long, high, perfectly straight drive up to w/in about 5 yards of the green. Other guy is dressed to the 9's, pulls out what looks like a $300 driver....and hits a maybe 150-yard pop fly. Slams clubhead to the ground and yells, "it's fat! It's fat! Everything is fat today!!"  And that's how I learned what a "fat" shot is.
    • day 57. Technique practice in the net. Really trying to slow down.
    • It may not be surprising that in the previous 7,064 posts, this particular point has been discussed. To which I will counter: If we're talking about results, why only the majors? Unless you know something that I don't, neither of us are in any position to judge whether Woods or Nicklaus lived their overall life better, not that such a thing is even objectively measurable, nor is it relevant to the discussion.
    • As we've had to tell other people, the topic is which is the better GOLFER, not human being.
