A few chinks in Rory's armor have  made this a new ball game. He's giving the chasers all the chance in the world to step up. Should be an interesting last few holes.

A player is required to give a reason for a withdrawl mid-round, which Tiger did to an official and a pool reporter.

Thanks Pahn52, I've seen footage of players walking off, but never the interaction between the Marshall or other official. I would guess some type of gentlemanly exchange with the playing partner would be appropriate as well.

Why do you add Foley? Who should he have chosen?

Good question ... counting 2010 as a wasted year, and lets add 2011, we've seen inconsistency that was not present in Tiger's game previously for two seasons.

It could be age, injuries, but with the acclaim one must also take the blame.

Is Foley overmatched? Tiger seems to have 2 way misses again (from what the commentators say).

Or is it just a poor putter? Can we hold Foley accountable for the short game?

Tiger put it together for about three months last year. Foley is not only guru but he seems to be coach, too.

It is on Tiger. After all, he is the player and has chosen Foley. The buck stops with him. Still, has Foley done his job? That's more for professionals to discern.

For the average Joe, Foley is the coach during a time of no majors. No majors = no success for Tiger, because the bar is so high.

He should have chosen Golf Evolution, of course...

If it is true, it is incredibly tough to play with nerve pain.

      Day 200 3-4 Wider back swing, arms up a bit higher, and added in some flow work to start getting a since of a full swing. Still focusing on arching wrist through downswing.

      It's going to be very difficult for the 2026 Masters to match the 2025 edition for storyline. I honestly don't know that anyone else in the field could match the story of Rory finally winning after so many years and the blow ups over the years, not to mention the career slam being completed. No one this year that I can think of is remotely close to that kind of story.
