Don't quote me on this but I feel like I remember hearing he went away from them for a bit in the 2000s/2010s and then went back to the metal.

At least he’s still writing history in his 40s. The 10 on the par 3 12th at Augusta was his worst score on a hole in his career (or at least PGA Tour).
