What Would You Serve at Your Masters Champions Dinner?

I like the votes for Foie Gras, so I'd start with pan seared foie gras drizzled with a porto reduction and some crushed pistachios.

Cilantro Shrimp cakes served with a homemade sweet and sour sauce

Grapefruit Granita (similar to sorbet but from Italy) to cleanse the palate.

The main would be:

My wife's Blue Cheese Crusted NY Strip-loins

Potatoes Dauphinoise

Asparagus pan fried in brown butter and flour de sel and finished with the juice of a clementine or tangerine.

Wine: A vintage Pomerol

Dessert: Home made Creme Brulée

Veranda:

A wide variety of Single Malts and a handful of Cognacs for those (poor souls) who don't like scotch.

Sounds lovely.  What no poutine?

I am a little worried about the two who chose asparagus.  I'm not sure how the porta-potties would go over with the added fragrance!

I'll be serving poutine in the parking lot only.

Duck of some sort, possibly Peking style. Unless this would offend Cabrera, but he doesn't seem to be the easily upset type. I'd still get his clearance first.
Ribs, possibly as an appetizer
Mashed potatoes, but with the request that no one shouts it during the meal.
Spinach, possibly garlic variety
Purple Moon wine. I'd list it like it's a specialty. I'd offer to buy a bottle for anyone present to take home with them afterward.
My second choice would be a corned beef meal, but I'm usually exhausted on that by Masters time.
I would make everyone where a plastic bib with a picture of a lobster on it and serve the following:
The list should have said hamburgers, fries with mustard and ranch, and shakes. One of many reasons I won't be winning the Masters any time soon: too many people don't want to wear a lobster bib while eating hamburgers.

3 lbs of Alaskan King crab, and the biggest Maine lobster available, and that's just for me... :-$

I'd probably just go with New York style pizza and diet pepsi.

If I was in a "fancy" mood, I'd go with Tuna Tartar, filet mignon, baked potato, some veggies, red wine, and ice cream and coffee for dessert.

nobody would like what I brought., since I follow plant-based eating...but I would proably have Thai food.....of course I would have meat options for people, since probably everyone is a meat and fish eater.

Sea Bass.

Right.

They're mutated sea bass.

Are they ill tempered?

Absolutely.

Oh well, that's a start.
