Bubba thinks acting disrespectful and ignorant is ok, cool or funny, sort of a spoiled kid trait, and not very Christian at all. Not much to like there if you ask me. He certainly doesn't give credence to  southern hospitality, manners or charm. In fact I can't think of anyone less charming in the PGA.

I would rather see any golfer be who they are vs any nfl or nba player.

I was thinking the same thing, just be your self. bubba to some is an idiot- well he's our idiot. Yes an emotional out control train wreck, at other times he 's a fourth grader an yet at other times a caring adult for his family and the gift he has. To me much better and more enjoyable to watch than arrogance and robotic attitude so common in professional sports.

Even though I think the Beatles suck ass I still know all of them. Anyways, Bubba's a giant douchey baby.

Bubba's fine - he's just a bit ADD. Just as Keegan Bradley is OCD. But if Bubba comes back to the UK, he can cook on my barbecue. And Keegan can clean my house -they will both be good at that.

Yeah, but THIS was light years ahead of it's time.

I want to like The Beatles, but I really just don't enjoy their music very much; the constant circle jerk that every single classic rock radio station has with them doesn't help much, either. I can only assume Bubba's comments were in jest, though, since I don't think I know a single person who can't rattle off at least a couple.

I wonder how many Liverpool residents under the age of 35 can name the members of Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Grateful Dead, or The Doors. How about any 4 of the 13 total? Just sayin'.......

umm...we're talking about the Beatles here. I like all those groups, in fact, when I was a teenager my two favorite bands were CCR and The Doors (I wore out Green River and The Soft Parade in 1969). But they really are second string when compared to the Beatles.

Far better example than I was going to go with... I was debating between saying Pistol Annies or Florida Georgia Line. Both of whom I'd rather listen to than any band from Liverpool (there is a good band from Manchester that is sometimes confused with them though). Point remains: Bubba is not a music historian. And that's what part of music the Beatles are important to: history. Land of the Lost was a part of TV history, but I'll change the channel if it's on. And if we want to talk about parts of TV history that aren't awful, I still won't be upset if someone from Europe doesn't know who Boss Hogg is.

Bubba is, being charitable, snarky. I recall a question at this year's Masters where the interviewer prefaced his question with (paraphrasing), "Bubba you played poorly here last year..." and Bubba interrupted with (paraphrased), "Hey thanks for reminding me of that. At least I beat you."

Dude. Chill. They're reporters doing their job. Yours is to hit a ball and answer questions.

He just comes off as ungrateful & snotty when things don't go his way.

Lol, all these dislikes for one man? Jeez! I can see Bubba's antics at times, but it's not that bad for me to really root against him tho.

At the end of the day, these guys are just regular humans who happen to be talented at golf. That's it. They are not that much different than the good/douchey people we see day to day.

This says everything:

    • Ok, I'm trying to find a feel to hit a consistent ball flight (irons).  My current predicament.  1. I try to do the arms down stuff better, with the club feeling like it is way behind me more. It's just a cluster of results. Most of the time, I can't get any speed on the swing. If I get my arms down faster, I just throw them out.  2. I focus all my attention on turning better. Pushing off with my left leg and getting my right side through better. On the DTL view, this doesn't produce anywhere close where the hands and club should be. The result is usually ball first contact, lower ball flight, more centered contact.  At this point, I am going with option 2. Stop thinking about what the hands do. Just make a shorter backswing, keep it wide, turn through. Somehow, the club head finds the ball. My focus is so much on just making sure I turn, it's like, "Oh, that contact was better.... Oh, that bell flight looks playable." If not, I will just be practicing my entire summer.
    • Nope, they spent too much money. They are in over 28 million on the football roster and related NIL compensation at this point. Boosters associated with any Texas college football team has HUGE sway. The AD is between a rock and a hard place. They put a lot of money into Sorsby, at the chance of winning a NC this year. If you move on, you basically wasted a lot.  This is why Ohio State wants 3 QB's they feel can start. That is why the backups the past 5 years at some point transfer. Texas Tech has no backup near the quality of Sorsby. If they move on, they are screwed for 2026.
    • Maybe there's something I still don't understand about the situation. Wouldn't Texas Tech do itself a favor to move on from Sorsby at this point?
    • Day 281 6-10 Full swing, fast, getting low point ahead of "towel".  Working on flow during this seems to help.
