I hate to say it, but it looks fluid, effortless, oh dear, fluid like young Rory. I would love to read a technical annalysis from MvMac

Tiger mentioned in an interview that he was physically unable to do some of the things that Foley wanted him to do. I wonder what these things were.

MvMac, could you please explain why there isn't any need of big changes?

From golf.com: 'After seeing Woods' current swing, Golf Channel analyst Brandel Chamblee, who has often criticized Woods' action, tweeted "Tiger is more upright and his swing is longer. Both good signs."

Just to be clear I do think Tiger needs to do better with his Key #3, he tends to get the handle too far forward which makes it tough to hit the driver well consistently and control distances with the short irons. While that will feel like a big change I'm referring to changes he made under Butch, Haney and Foley. You can tell who he was working with just by looking at his A4. I don't think there will be any major "style" changes for Tiger, it's pretty darn good already. I think the more he works with Chris you'll see the pivot become a touch more shallow than it was under Foley. There were times where he would get too steep with his shoulders. [/quote] I think Brandel is seeing what he wants to see. Just from the pics I posted, if you didn't know when Tiger made those swings could you tell the difference? I couldn't. In the long run he may be right but right now I don't see that much difference.

I am sorry MvMac, A bit stupid of me to drag BC into the conversation.

Point taken about TW swing. At key 3, to far forward, could you compensate it by extending more? Raising the handle?

Furthermore, between the thumbs. In general at top sport level, if a coach would want a swingchange, how long would it take to have an effect? Or isn't there a rule? It depends on the athlete?

I don't know if it's the angle of the video but it appears to me like he shortened his backswing a bit.

Maybe he has to shorten his backswing because those people are sitting so close? :-D

From my experience with helping and seeing players work on this, the changes have to be made well before impact. Basically feel like the shaft is "widening" out from A4. Not saying this is what Tiger is going to feel or even work on, just giving my take.

Depends on the player and the piece they're working on. Thousands of reps typically.

It does look like his head is moving back more, face on view, driver. ~2 inches?

I'll bet it cost them a pretty penny! But that's cool, I'm sure it's for his charity.

I'm guessing the iron in the 2013 swing is a wedge, looks shorter than the club in the 2014 swing. Camera is lower in the 2014 iron swing as well.

This is interesting because with Hank, he was arguably not steep enough with the shoulders.  Somewhere In between the two I'm sure is what Chris is looking to accomplish with him.
