I want Turbulators to help me drive it long with the PING G30 Driver!

I predict that the BLUE (East Coast) TEAM will win the 2015 Newport Cup by a score of 27.5 to 26.5. The MVP will be @saevel25 with 8 points won.

Gotta go with the East Coast.  Bring it on home guys!

This'll be a real nail-biter, if our most successful player only gets 8 of a possible 15, and we win by just one! :bugout:

This thread is getting quite. I guess the West coast guys are busy practicing their delicate 'short' game type shots and working on deep breathing techniques, chanting mantras and contemplating who the fall guys will be for their post defeat conference.

Can't tell you what Blue man's group is doing. We would like to have you think we are just sitting here doing nothing PMing each other - 'we got this.. pfft', being over-confident, high fiving each other in our sleep and visualizing bathing in a river of beer and champagne on Sept 12th. Clubs are already packed. Don't need to touch them till D-day. What else is there to do, right?

My hope is that everyone plays well, has some great shots, loads of fun, and coming down the stretch, someone distinguishes himself with a timely birdie on #18 the last day.  We want to hear some good stories and see a few nice photos.  Make this memorable guys, so next time we are all fighting to get on a team.

I heard the same. Much like the college student who realizes that finals are approaching and a "failing" grade looms, the East Coast squad is frantically trying to cram for the Newport Cup. Not gonna work, guys...

I think the trash talking that comes after the Newport Cup is going to be better than the stuff that comes before it. As much fun as it would be to rattle some cages leading into the event, the only guys that I know personally are on my team - so the trash talk is pretty mild generic stuff.

After we break bread with, share a few beers with, and hopefully beat those East Coast guys, I think it will liven the smack talking up quite a bit. I'm guessing the recaps will be much more entertaining to read than the previews.

      Because brail takes up a lot more space than print, a brail Bible is normally about 20 volumes. Each of which would be the size of the one Eli carries around in the movie. So for him to have a King James Bible he'd have to carry 20 books the size of the one he carries.  Love the movie. I didn't know that until years after I saw it the first time.       I use percentages a lot and to translate above to % Of the total 153 in the field (excludes WD) 78 made the Cut is @ 51% overall. Of the 16 LIV  in the field 11 made the cut is @ 69% vs the 67 PGAT Players making the cut is @ 49%  - Advantage to LIV...But you could also say they were bigger fish in the smaller pond. Of the 11 LIV Players that made the Cut @ 6% were in the Top 10 vs @ 7% of the PGAT Players - Slight Advantage to PGAT Of the 11 LIV Players that made the Cut 2, @ 9% were between 10-25 vs @ 21% of the PGAT Players - Advantage PGAT Of the 11 LIV Players that made the Cust 7, @ 64%, were in the bottom 38 players vs @ 46% of the PGAT Players - Advantage PGAT In my opinion PGAT performed better overall despite LIV wining the % that made the cut. It is true that making the cut is a big deal but in reality all that means is they were better than the bottom 50% of all players.  If we are looking to identify the "Cream of the Crop" simply being in the top 50% does not cut it. I agree, no asterisks needed.
