I want Turbulators to help me drive it long with the PING G30 Driver!

I predict that the BLUE (East Coast) TEAM will win the 2015 Newport Cup by a score of 27.5 to 26.5. The MVP will be @saevel25 with 8 points won.

Gotta go with the East Coast.  Bring it on home guys!

My "rock's" are more like "sand pebbles"

Guess I'll pack a few extra pillows in case it turns into a pillow fight.......

This thread is getting quite. I guess the West coast guys are busy practicing their delicate 'short' game type shots and working on deep breathing techniques, chanting mantras and contemplating who the fall guys will be for their post defeat conference.

Can't tell you what Blue man's group is doing. We would like to have you think we are just sitting here doing nothing PMing each other - 'we got this.. pfft', being over-confident, high fiving each other in our sleep and visualizing bathing in a river of beer and champagne on Sept 12th. Clubs are already packed. Don't need to touch them till D-day. What else is there to do, right?

My hope is that everyone plays well, has some great shots, loads of fun, and coming down the stretch, someone distinguishes himself with a timely birdie on #18 the last day.  We want to hear some good stories and see a few nice photos.  Make this memorable guys, so next time we are all fighting to get on a team.

I heard the same. Much like the college student who realizes that finals are approaching and a "failing" grade looms, the East Coast squad is frantically trying to cram for the Newport Cup. Not gonna work, guys...

I think the trash talking that comes after the Newport Cup is going to be better than the stuff that comes before it. As much fun as it would be to rattle some cages leading into the event, the only guys that I know personally are on my team - so the trash talk is pretty mild generic stuff.

After we break bread with, share a few beers with, and hopefully beat those East Coast guys, I think it will liven the smack talking up quite a bit. I'm guessing the recaps will be much more entertaining to read than the previews.

      Yes.  Did he not hit the range before the round? When my first few pre-round drives aren't what I expect, the first thing I check is my driver settings, in case they changed.  I am on my second adjustable driver and I am still not trusting that golf gremlins don't change it between rounds. The second thing I check is my alignment and setup, and that is far more often the culprit than my settings. In any case, there are some simple things that I imagine should be on a professional player's pre-round checklist that I am surprised when they aren't.  One of those is the settings for any adjustable clubs.
