Hate to sound mean...but Kisner winning would suck some of the excitement out of this.

I mean, if it was Justin Thomas, maybe I'd have a different feel. But Kisner is not gonna be a superstar player. He may win here or there, but this would be like Lucas Glover winning the US Open and taking it from Phil Mickelson and David Duval.

In my case, there isn't one single player who I'd root for in that position. Not one (unless I knew the, personally) I'm selfish like that ... I want more excitement and what's more exciting than a 3 hole playoff at this course??

What a great tournament!! I've been working so much that...I'll confess...aside from 2 hours of Masters Saturday, this is the first golf I've watched this season. I picked the right day to watch. Wife's take: they shouldn't have playoffs on Mothers Day.

That was not a clutch drive, Ben.

He's butchered the 18th the last three rounds. Always to the extreme right, worried about the water, I guess. I'm still very proud of him to contend in his first Players though. Way to go Cuz.

You guys get to watch golf. I get to see two good ole boys sitting on a pickup truck in a flood, and the tv commentators telling me what I am seeing. It's flooding north of here ... I can't help the guys and neither can the tv.

      Day 159 1-19 Flow drill while attempting to add arch in wrist on downswing. Not where it needs to be but felt good working on swing flow.

      Day 1 (19 Jan 26) - after a week lay-off due to travels, felt great to get in some drills in the backyard today.  Started with lead arm only short pitches focused on squared face and light divot post ball.  Haven’t done this in a while and it showed, with some skulls and slices.  Settled into easy flighted balls - wrapped up with standard two handed swings.  Good restart to the daily drills.

      That depends what you do within those two.  Are they your only options?   Check out Fit for Golf if you get a moment.  It's linked on the sidebar;  I did it for two years, stopped for a really bad reason, and I plan to get back to it soon.   Mike Carroll also has a great free podcast about a lot of topics in golf fitness.

      Day 30 - 2026-01-19 Got 10 minutes in on the mat / net working on exagerrating movements I'm working on. And grip. Also worked with my friendly AI to summarize key negative tendencies I have so that I can build a personal checklist to follow. Will do more mirror work tonight.
