Oh boy, today was one of those days... but you wouldn't know it if you saw me at the range earlier tonight. Found time for a small bucket (30). A few full swings, working on the pacing. Then also hit a few 1/4 and 1/2 shots and some "flight" shots with the 9-iron on down. Playing tomorrow. Can't wait :-)

Practiced for 40 minutes today hitting into a net in the yard.  Worked on mostly on my right elbow and weight shift from A4 to 6, then the pivot to A9.  Had some trouble off the tee yesterday controlling direction.  But I need to focus on my priority pieces too.

Another 20-30 minutes work in the net, focusing on transition and syncing the arms/ pivot.

10 minutes on the transition, I've actually gone from very little in terms of weight shift to too much. Focusing on a more fluent tempo......easier said than done!

Worked on my putting for 15 mins in my living room after work today.  I did my gate drill again with each hand individually and both hands together.  I also put a ball out 3-5 feet and tried putting looking out at the target instead of down at the ball.  I hit the target almost every time.  I want to take this to the practice green and see how it goes there.  I haven't ever felt like I struggled with shorter putts but I can see how this takes some tension out of the shot.

6/12/15: Did my now famous swing the spatula drill while it was slow trying to feel a very smooth transition at the top... Believe it or not it actually helps you know if your square better because it's flat, its hard to tell with a club... Sometimes... Ahhhh. The perks of being a cook...
