Lowest score and over par: 72 (1 over)  September 2013 at Center Square Golf club in PA. Chipped in from just off the green for an eagle on a par 5 and had 1 birdie. Otherwise it was just steady golf of 4 bogeys and 12 pars. I lipped out a mid-length putt on 18 for the even par round but was just fine with 1 over.

No, I shot 37 on the 2nd Nine (the 30 was during the lowest round I've had) - 67 which I've done twice.

oh I gotcha. I've never been lower than 32, a few times at my home course on the front, par 37. Then actually yesterday on the back of my colleges course, par 35.

In my bag:

Taylormade RBZ 3-wood

A 90 (my second time shooting it) this past weekend.

I started out the first two holes with double bogeys. Then I managed to settle in, and finished with a 41 on the Front 9 - My lowest ever.

On 10 & 11, I got birdie, Par - Immediately thinking I'm going to finally get my first round in the 80's.

It was not to be. I played in a scramble tournament earlier in the day, and hadn't eaten lunch before starting the new round. I think fatigue started to set in and I proceeded to get triples on 12 & 13. Mostly just bogeyed the rest of the holes from there on out.

Lowest Casual was a 74 (2 over) - chipped in for an eagle on a par 5 on the 2nd hole, and it was smooth sailing from there

Lowest Tournament was a 77 - I finished 3rd out of 8 people in the 12-15.9 handicap bracket.  One of the people in that handicap range shot even par (72) and the other shot 76.  3rd place got nothing.

Casual - 84

Tournament - 88

My scores are slowly dropping. Broke 90 for the first time last year, and am now starting to shoot more consistently in the 80s :-).

Best start- 4 under after 3 at Pebble Beach. Birdie, Eagle, Birdie... then reality set in and finished with an 80 Never really played in a competition other than a couple of Golf club outings but I guess an 82 in the 20+ mph wind and steady rain for a net 72 and the win would count. Best casual was a 70 (73) at Pine Hills on Long Island. Couldn't miss that day. Have never been close to that since.

Tournament: 66 (-3) 1st round of 2014 Copper Creek match play tournament from blue (middle) tees with no putts given outside about 6 inches (I think it was a putt I took myself for a double as my opponent was not giving me anything). 8 birdies (7 during the match), 2 doubles (1 during and 1 after the match) and a bogey (during the match). 64.8/113 Casual: 66 (-3) Tips at same course earlier this summer with 4 birdies & 1 three putt bogey . 66.8/117 I recently shot 70 (-2) at Keystone Ranch white tees starting +2 after 5 holes on the back without any practice putts or range warm up. With a higher CR & slope (69.6/129) this is in the same ball park as the two Copper Creek rounds. I made 1 of 4 eagle putts (3 from on the surface) and had NO one putt birdies (unless you count the 2nd putt of the eagle putt from off the green). My only bogeys were three putts on my 2nd hole & 12 holes . I don't think I have ever had more than 2 eagle putts in a round at that course, so I was happy with my ball striking.

Copper Creek seems to have the lowest Course Rating and Slope that I've ever seen.

    • I get kidney stones. So 100 oz of water every day. Some nights I drink 32oz between midnight and 6 Am. Which means I dont sleep much.
    • 46 (9 over) Short game and putts were awful!
    • 46+40 for an 86. I just need to play 9 holes on the range before each round. 🤣🤣🤣
    • I don’t measure my intake either. I generally have a black coffee, a bottle of soda, some sweet tea at home, and anything in between is water. An ice cold bottle of water is one of my favorite things. It feels like an immediate refresher for my body. I’ll admit that I need to drink a little more though.
    • For such a nice membership, there have been some bad incidents in the past few years.  We had someone voted out a couple of years ago over something he did and he harassed the board members for three months until he moved out of the area.   Generally they’ve tried to do things like tournament handicaps and identify certain people who they know should be lower and adjust it somehow.  I can understand not wanting to go thru something like the guy who was voted out again i emailed the pro who forwarded it to the handicap committee.  They are going to see what can be done.  I walked someone thru what happened and they are going to nudge him to post the score from the match and see what he does.  Since he didn’t put anything in the electronic scoring past 13, based on how he played 14 and 15 plus having to take bogey on 16-18 for after he left, he should post 83.  We’ll see if it’s even higher,   Since he was really even thru 13, then doubled 14 and parred 15 my guess is he really shot 75 being generous and giving him 2 pars and a bogey on the three holes he didn’t play.    i shot 88, getting 16 shots for my course handicap which is net even and I lost on 13.  We do brackets where handicaps should be within 4-5 of each other.  Most matches only have 1-2 shots as a difference between players  neither of us posted the score yet.  There was something in the match play rules about whether or not to post your score.  I couldn’t remember if we were supposed to or not.  I don’t think he was going to post that, because even with his inflated score it would be the lowest score in his recent 20. Lucky I didn’t because they want to see what he does post and they don’t want me posting so he can try to calibrate his score.
