Approach shots. Especially half wedges. Maybe qualifies as short game. 8 iron and in are rarely terrible.

Putting for me, but I have been working on my chipping, and I think it is coming along nicely. I used to think the whole point of chipping was to get on the "dance floor." But now my goal is to, if not hole out, get a tap in.  Not really there yet, but light years ahead of where I was two months ago.

I voted putting, but even that lets me down at times. I'm a good mid range putter and usually make a couple or so per round.

The rest of my game, and even putting sometimes, is very inconsistent throughout any round. 12 holes of par or better and 6 holes

of who knows what almost every round.

Putting.  Hell, I'll even putt out of a green side bunker because I trust that more my wedge for sand saves.

I don't have any stats to speak of in front of me but I just feel the most comfortable from 150 yards with either an 8 or 7 iron in my hands right now, just today I damn near jarred a 6 iron from about 180 on a par 3 today ( made the 5' for bird).

That would be my answer for "what is the suckiest part of your game?"

I would say mid-irons to wedges are my strength. If im at 75 to 100 yds or 140-170 im pretty confident to put it on and get close. But i always feel my driving could improve, so idk if its good or not. Short game is steady, ill put it close often enough. But I definitely enjoy my irons.

My wedges were specifically my weakest part of the game earlier this year so I put a lot of work into them and now they are the strongest. Approach shots are my weakest part of the game but short game plus less than full PW shots are now the strongest. Putting is a close second.

Irons. I'm very long with my irons and that gives me a big margin for error.

Definitely driving.  A bad day is less than 10 fairways.  Not a long hitter by anyones measure but usually in the short grass.

When I was younger. I could have picked any of those 6 listed depending on what year it was. I just was never able to hold on to all 6 with any true consistency. In my teens I was a better than average putter. Now it's the part of my game where I lose the most strokes. This year I have been money on anything from 160yds on in. My sand game still sucks and my chipping from the fringe needs work. I have been doing well on the pitch shots though. Golf is still my favorite game to play. I just wish I would not take it so serious some times. I really beat myself up a lot for a game that is suppose to be all about having fun.

Short game for me. It's the only part of my game that I rarely ever have doubts about.

Short game. The result of so much practice due to the relative low number of GIR bought upon by my poor full-swing. :~(

Yep short game. I average about 9-10 pars a round and just 5-6 GIR. Typically will 3 putt a GIR at least once because the ball finds absolute worst spot on the green.

Should have mentioned a good short game is really the byproduct of a good long game. Though my short game is a little sharper but it should be give the shorter distances to the target and the easier to hit short clubs.

looks like im the only one that voted for the mental game so far. not sure what that means. i do make mistakes like everyone but nothing really bothers me when im playing. hit my shot good or bad and move on to the next. dont dwell on the bad ones at all, dont feel much pressure on important shots. im just so happy to be playing after not playing for so long.
