Video is old, maybe you've seen this before, apologies if repetitive. That's Cypress Point, Pebble Beach, somewhere in Napa Valley I take it?

Looks like the ball is heading right for the pins/fairways, etc.

He appears to be making okay contact, but his swing just stops after impact. He tries to stop the club completely is what it looks like, which would cause the step/losing his balance forwards and to the left at the end of his swing (as his body attempt to halt the rotational/forward motion of the club its inertia is transferred into the body).

Sure is weird, but it appears like it works for him to enjoy the game. I can only imagine the stress it puts on his back though...

What's even funnier is his practice swing at 0:56 looks pretty normal to me. . .

Harvey Penick told a story about one of his students who had a match the next day with a golfer with a seemingly terrible swing. His student told him he would have no problem with his next opponent because of that terrible swing. Penick's student lost that match by a pretty large margin. I suspect the other guy's impact position was much better than Penick's student.

I didn't see Pebble Beach. Certainly places in California but none looked like Pebble.

lol  What the hell...

How does he play par 3s?  Looks like every one of his shots is a low liner regardless of club.

Reminds me of a guy I played with some years ago. He had a very vertical and violent move in to the ball. Didn't step off it as much, but made clean contact most of the time.

LOL.............this clown can compete with Sir Charles for worst swing!   I didn't see any Pebble either, but this guy is a definite hack. His short game is probably "ON PAR" with the long game.  Of course the commentator was very polite..........."Nice shot Bruce"...Hahaha..

Yeah didn't see Pebble, definitely Cypress though.

What's interesting is that he would never make that kind of a move at it if you told him to just make swing and brush the grass. Amazing what happens when that little white ball is in the way.

I played with a guy that had a worse swing. He literally crouched and hopped like a frog when he swung. I wish I had a video camera. He must have thought I sucked because he tried to give me pointers that day. :-D
