Every golfer has his streaks, and then tires. Jordan is human, and young. Fatigue, fame, attention, media suck the life out of you. Think he will be a force for a long time. His swing does not look as if it will injure him. I can't say the same for Jason Day or Rory ... I think their swings will lead them to more of a roller coaster ride.

Jordan has his head on straight, just needs rest, and get away from the life sucking forces surrounding him.

I think he's finished, he will never recover psychologically from these recent putrid and horrible rounds.  He should just take the money he's won and open a driving range; maybe sell homemade ham sandwiches to the real golfers who never go through this type of thing.  Nothing more needs to be said.  Next topic........

We all need to realize that the expectations we put on any golfer are totally asinine.  Rory, Day, Jordan, Rickie, etc. will never be the level of golfer we want them to be.  They will have great spurts of golf but then they will regress.  That is how it goes.  There will not be a golfer that can dominate the field week in and week out.

Just be happy we have so much talent that each week any one of them can be great.   Just don't expect any of them to be great all the time.

I think the same can be said for Tiger also.I think right now golf is as strong as it has ever been.Imagine if you could have Hogan Jones Hagen Nicklaus Player Watson Palmer Tiger Faldo Phil playing at their prime right now.You would have number 1 sport by far.

Friend of mine told me the pros are really only on top of their game like 6 weeks out of a year which makes since considering what we see.

It's not increased in strength as much from 1960-2000 as it has from 2000-2015.

Yes - he's totally done.

Until he wins again and then he'll go back to being The Next Tiger.  This will sadden Rickie Fowler, who is only 1 win away from being the temporary "Next Tiger" himself.

You know who I blame for the above?  Golf media.  They are so desperate for "The Next Tiger" or the next "Great Rivalry" to come along that they pretty much announce it's arrival weekly.

When Spieth was playing with Day he looked intimidated. Day was blasting drives past him and putting lights out.

Spieth when he won the Majors was in a special place. whether he can return to that place remains to be seen.

And in six months when another guy looks like a beast, and Day is struggling, we'll be asking "can Jason Day return to that place? remains to be seen..."

That's golf, very, very few can keep up dominance.

Day, Spieth, Rory, Fowler... these kids will be trading places in the rankings for the next decade.
