I walk, so don't have a large sample space of carts used to draw from. Yeah, it might encourage phone calls but handy for charging.

Steve

Kill slow play. Allow walking. Reduce ineffective golf instruction. Use environmentally friendly course maintenance.

That would be very handy for keeping the phone from dying while using it for music or gps apps.

I haven't seen it but the carts where we play are still gas jalopies. At my parents club the member owned carts are nicer than my car, worth more too. A family there has a baby blue 57 Chevy cart with alligator hide seat and touch scream AV system. I've seen carts with AC and heat. It's nuts.

Is that a GPS cart? Then it would be used to upload ads, new maps, etc... But now that I know they're there...

You can buy an after market port too that plugs into the cart battery charging port. Very nice for keeping phone and tunes charged for those that care about such things on the course

Lol, I like the idea. I use my phone for yardage and to keep my score but it's a battery killer.

There is a local course that has these in their carts. Its really great if you're streaming music or your GPS app sucks your battery life quick. Nice to have, not need to have haha

The battery in my Garmin drains pretty quick on satellite so this would be cool.

It makes sense to have them in the carts, and I hope more courses adopt it.

Yep. The member carts at my club are freaking out of control. Each new cart raises the bar. The "top cart" of a few years ago is now mid-pack.

Of course my cart is very basic and places me DFL in the member cart wars.

    • Day 5: did a stack session. Did some slow swings between sets, working on hands down.
    • So, I might have to get out of the C-Taper golf shaft. I have an older Mizuno with a KBS Tour shaft in. I was messing around with closing my eyes and feeling where the weight of the club is being felt at. The C-Taper was all in my fingers. I didn't feel much of anything of the club head or shaft of the club. It felt super heavy in my hands. The KBS Tour I could feel a weight further away from my hands, out in space.  The Mizuno weights 2 grams more, but is about 2-3 swing weights lighter than my current irons.  So, yea. I am thinking I might sense the club better with maybe a less stout golf shaft and maybe a lighter swing weight. Probably more to do with the golf shaft. I am thinking the feeling of the weight out in space is more of the shaft loading more easily.
    • Day 25 (2 Apr 26) - Worked on green side chips at the course before helping with the school golf tournament today.  Worked on low flighted spinners to get solid hop and stops.
    • Day 227 4-2 Chest and hip turn with flow drill. Trying to get a rhythm to the hip movement/less segmented feeling.
    • A bit back at it tonight. I just wanted to add in the feel of a softer left arm through out the backswing. This helps me hinge the club. I make sure I am not bending it a ton, but not straightening it. It helps feel like I can keep the club in front of me more and lift the club up sooner.
