Reports are that Rory McIlroy is about to (or perhaps already has) popped the question to his girlfriend, the PGA's Erica Stoll.

I'm kinda shocked to here that  he broke up with wozniacki in 2014 so he has only being seeing his new girlfriend for 1 and  1/2 years maximum it seems early to get engaged

Jeter is 41 and retired though. He clearly knows the key to keeping that competitive fire is to play the field. Just look at Rory in 2014

I think strange in both how they met, the whole late to the Ryder Cup thingy, and then how he was engaged to this extremely famous tennis star, decides basically after sending out the invitations that he changes his mind, and now decides to get engaged again to a relatively normal person. Might make a good rom-com.

I take it Rory is a romantic so this is probably just par for the course.

He seems smitten by her, and by the report I read, the families are happy, too. 

Wish them the best. And he is marrying an older woman. She is 29 to his 26, and she looks adorable.

3 years isn't that much of a difference.

      Day 446 - 2025-12-20 Woke up early and got some swings in before teaching putting all day. Looking forward to doing the same tomorrow.

      Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.

      Day 130 12-20 Today was just swinging what i had and go from there. Did focus on getting to lead side. Recorded swings for lesson  and hit real balls.
