On average, I played 2.5 rounds per week.   52 x 2.5 = 130 rounds by 12/31/15, plus or minus 5 rounds.   About 15 - 20 of those were played outside of my home course.

I played about 4 18 hole rounds and about 20 or so rounds of 9.  All but one on my home course.  Started in April after I finished baseball.

24 so far in 2015 and most likely 3 more remaining.

Averaging a round every two weeks is basically my goal, so I've succeeded!!

Only 24?

Wow, I would have thought you played a lot more rounds than that.

(or I had to take two extended breaks from golf this year, one to help my mom move and the other for my own sanity :ninja:)

It's called mind golf, we do it at work, instead of working.

I played approximately 60 rounds this year. I feel if I were to play more than that I would become too one dimensional and could possibly get burned out on golf.

Really not 100% sure, but I'd peg it at about 70 rounds. Nearly all 18 holes, but a third of those were on the Par-3 course.

My problem is that if I have the time to swing the sticks at all, I'm playing. Never seem to make the time for practice.

Wow, I would have thought you played a lot more rounds than that.

Too many other activities amongst myself, wife, and three kids to me spending that much time on golf.  I sneak in one round a month or so on a weekend, and also maybe one round a month or so by playing hooky from work.  That and 2-4 days of lunchtime practice is pretty much the extent of my golf for the year.

This year I was able to add in a couple of nine hole rounds WITH my oldest son.  I figure that each year that he gets older, we'll be able to do it more if he likes it, and maybe his sister will be interested as well.  If I'm taking some of the kids and not ditching them and my wife at home, then the number of rounds can easily go up.  That's what I'm hoping for in the next couple of years.

Playing is definitely more fun than practicing.

That is a great mindset to have as a father.  I commend you.

I had 22 posted scores, four scramble tournaments, and few four- to nine-hole jaunts here and there.

Due to illness in the family, I had one 4-week and one 5-week stretch where I couldn't play golf.
