So far in 2016:  Rickie has had a win and a 2nd (lost playoff).  Jordan has a win.  Rory has two top-5s.

It's only the 2nd week of March.  I wouldn't write off the season yet.

Bowditch with a 12:35 start time today - what say you O/U 79.5 (he currently is riding a 5 round streak of 80 or worse)

Bowditch might have been an okay pick for Doral because he's long, but not Copperhead. He drives it all over the place.

Valspar being held 2 miles from my house. Planning on going tomorrow, but have seen some PGA Tour stars out and about at restaurants in the area. Some of the encounters:

1) Saw Boo Weekley last night at Wing House. Guy was hammered...and I mean hammered. Asked him how he did and his response was "I played like dog shit." Tried to talk to him a little more but he was a bit stand-off'ish. Then watched him walk out and wobble around. Was with Chad Campbell and a couple other golfers I didn't really recognize.

2) Saw Vijay Singh at Wing House as well. Didn't get a chance to talk to him.

3) Saw Graham DeLaet. Was with a hottie and I went up to him and shook his hand and had a brief convo with him.

I totally agree. Nice change from the uniformity of the Tour.

 

Also, what the flying flock of seagulls is wrong with Will Mackenzie's ears??

On my way to the tourney today. Really surprised they didn't move up tee times. Gonna try and find out why. Heavy storms expected in the afternoon. Could be a Monday finish which would bum me out bc I can't go tomorrow.

Wow...his putting has been piss poor. Just atrocious. Just goes to show that good ball striking will still get you on the leader board despite bad putting.
