In terms of the medical exemption he's on he would be done but I'm sure he could still get sponsors exemptions and try to earn his card back by winning or earning enough money points.

There is also the option is using the career money exemption.

I've never rooted against anyone on Tour before but you better believe I'll be pulling for this jerk to miss the cut.

In general he comes off as a pompous asshole.  One recent example is that he blamed a photographer for distracting him: here

I sense a fan shaming in his near future.  Or volunteer.  Or disabled veteran.  Or autograph seeking child.  Gonna be the fault of one of those.

Chip on his shoulder, takes his act too far, has forgotten his roots, turned into (or turned out to be..) a complete jagoff. I have always thought IP would be a better fit for a B grade show like Celebrity Apprentice..

Will Jack the Lad Ian retain a European Tour card if this all goes to bollocks for him on the PGA?

+4 through 15.  T145 of 155 right now.

I hope he has plans for the weekend.  Doesn't look like he's gonna be working at this rate!

    • I think 95% is more accurate. The leader of our course rating program shot from the hip and said 90%, but I recently read elsewhere that it is more like 95%. So we spend 4 hours or more on a course with a team of 6 to 8 people to figure out the last few rating strokes as to whether they exist or not due to difficulty. I credit this site/forum for getting my interest up in volunteering for my state association. I am marshalling for the US Mid Am qualifier later this morning 15 min from my home. We get shirts, hats, 1/4 zips, a cart with our name on it, a radio, lunch and unlimited snacks all while watching some great golfers. πŸ™‚

    • Day 2: August 12.  I did 25 balls of the ruler drill from LSW for putting.  24 of the 25 stayed on the ruler through 36" but some were smoother than others.  I suspect if the ruler (and goal) had been 48" far fewer would have stayed on.  I'm trying to go by sound, and not look, since when I attempt short putts, I don't want to look (although now I wonder if that's conventional wisdom that turns out to be wrong).
