Dana Dahlquist posted it on his Instagram. Guessing it'll be like a real time video recast, like the setup in Golftec. Anyways, will be on the lookout, interested in seeing what it does.

I think it's more for remote lessons: https://www.mirrorvisiongolf.com .

Rats. OTOH, that could be really useful.

Hey, I’m the founder of Mirror Vision. I’d be happy to answer any questions. You’re correct, it is real time video feedback. We’ll be launching early November. Cheers

I am really looking forward to seeing your product and how I can use it with my students.

I have no idea when it'll be ready, saw something about this awhile back but forgot about it. But it looks like soon. Basically two devices, one is the "eyes", and the other is the realtime playback. There's not much to go on, the other features. But just from the short video clips, it looks like I am going to use the heck out of this.

This is already out and is pretty similar, although I'd imagine the app would be cheaper

Yeah, thanks, I've seen this. Gotta think the iPhone cameras are better though? But the BT bandwidth might be limiting, or maybe it's using wifi. Dunno.

Did a search on the Apple App store. Not there.

the Live View will allow you to draw lines and angles on the real time screen for playback. Not sure what the earlier mentioned app provides. I saw a demo of this on a Martin Chuck video awhile back. I believe he used a tablet or 2 in 1.

I also don't want to have another "thing", would prefer this kind of functionality in an app. Already have a tablet and phones. Like George Carlin and his bit about "stuff".

Seems like a pretty cool idea. I don't really have an iPad-able driving range, but I can definitely see the usefulness.

Looks interesting. Can work on stuff without looking up all the time so it's closer to a real swing.

I dont have the hardware for it, though.

Not sure what you mean by this @jamo? Pretty much any range you can just set the tablet in front of you?

If you don’t want to record the video you can do this via face time for free...

You can screen record in iOS since iOS 11 or so. So you can record that way.

It's just not worth it to take to a goat track.

Sorry for my lack of tech knowledge, but how do you stand at address with your iPad in front for viewing yet have the view as from DTL? That’s what I want.

Are we saying use both the phone and iPad/tablet?

    • Day (2 May 24) - somehow I missed posting both Tues and Weds practice sessions - so the streak ends and a new one begins…. Focus today was on ball first contact using the Divot Board for reference.   Worked with 7i, 9i and GW hitting hard foam balls.  Started hap hazardly and then settled back into my pre-shot setup.  Much more consistent in the latter.
    • So, Newey is out at Red Bull. Where does he go in a year? Is Max still with RBR in 2026? Hmmmm.
    • August 2010 Woodfin Ridge 18th hole Playing in a large tournament with a slew of friends and the last day was two man best ball. The 18th, when it was bent grass, was very fast due to a steep slope on the right side. I had seen many people over the years putt off the green from above the hole. I hit a great drive and 3W to 30’ left of the hole. With everyone watching my partner hit it way too fast and never high enough and his ball rolled all the way to the bottom of the green.  I hit mine much higher and the ball came to rest about 20” above the hole. Then it slowly started trickling towards the hole for a walkoff eagle! Nobody said anything except my partner who was yelling pretty loudly. I looked at the crowd and told them it was okay to clap because it was a great putt, and they gave me a bunch of polite golf claps and brought me a beer!
