I think he was trying to do his version of Miller by ‘calling it as he sees it’ but just doesn’t have it.

Azinger said, ‘ Lately BD has been unfairly a punching bag on this slow play discussion.’ WTF? Come on Azinger....don’t start that pansy nonsense. He deserved every bit of the criticism he got and practically dared people to challenge him on it.

Two thumbs down for Putz Azinger.

I heard him say something so stupid last weekend and I can't remember what it was.  I wanted to post it here.  The funny thing is that I really liked him as a player.  Then, when he got cancer, I was really rooting for him to get well and not lose his arm.  He went through a lot.  I hope he goes on the Senior Tour when his time comes.  But his commentary is from hunger.

Paul is 59. I believe his time has come and gone.

He seems so out of place in this "Vanity" piece they are doing before the Tournament with the rest of the guys, and all he seems to be able to talk about is the money.

I think Paul has a very tough act to follow, I loved listening to Johnny Miller. Miller made the game interesting to listen to and I always enjoyed his insightful commentary.

My impression of Paul is that he is trying too hard and talks too much, often stating the obvious over and over again.

Johnny Miller was my favorite but I think Azinger is doing okay. I think they could do better...I wouldn't mind seeing Chamblee or Nobilo.

My bag:

Taylor Made R7 (x-stiff).
Taylor Made Burner 2 irons (stiff)
Cleveland Wedges (gap and 60)
Odyssey two ball putter (white)

Azinger just said ‘ oh...well he pulled that one..’ as the ball sticks tight to the pin about 8-10’.

Azinger is terrible ! Triple bogey...

I'm not a fan, but he's not bad enough that I'd link my entire online identity to Zinger's suckiness.

    • I don't follow the LIV tour so for starters somebody would have to tell me that they are coming. Even if tickets were free I probably wouldn't go. I'm just not interested.  I've been to a fair amount of PGA Tour Tournaments in my life. I've even attended two US Opens... One men's, and one women's. I've been to college and high school tournaments as well.  I'd actually be more interested in attending a Korn Ferry Tournament or an Epson Tour Tournament. Which reminds me the Nationwide Chlidren's Hospital Championship in September is right down the street. I should get tickets.
    • LIV golf was pretty close to me in 2023, at the same course that hosted the 2023 Senior PGA.  I didn't go to either one.  I do know a few people who went to the LIV event, and they said it was pretty well attended and pretty well run.  If I had free tickets, I might show up, but I'd probably have to drive 10 miles to park to get a shuttle to come back to within 5 miles of my house.
    • As long as "in town" means a drive of less than an hour, I'd probably go.  I've never actually been to a pro golf event, so it would be a novelty. Presumably, they'd be playing on a course that I'm not normally allowed to visit, so there would be an interest in just going to see the place. My tolerance for traffic is pretty minimal, so if massive headaches are predicted it would dampen my enthusiasm.
    • I would definitely buy tickets and go watch a round or two.
