Watched Molinari miss his putt right. Then Tiger steps up and misses right. Just maddening to watch when Tiger is putting bad. Meanwhile the ‘ I want to be elusive and mysterious but pay attention to me’ Koepka can just back heel his putter and roll in a 20’.

The course is gettable. But Koepka is also playing that good. He’s actually missed some makeable birdie putts. Could easily be going after a 61 or 62.

Haven't checked his math, but holy crap. (His last sentence is a bit over the top, considering Brooks set the course record, but it's f***ing hard to play golf on the PGA Tour).

His math is bad. It's 11.2.

About ten years ago, there was an article on TST about what the tour pros' handicaps would be if their 20 most recent rounds were played at the same course, but just at the tips (not set up for tour conditions).  I think Tiger was dominating at the time and was near +10 or something and the guys barely maintaining their tour card were something like +4.5

If I have the time at the end of summer (probably aiming to get it for after the Tour Championship this year), I might aim to recreate that article with the 2018-19 year stats if there would be interest.

+7.9 for Tiger. Furyk was +6.7 that year as second place, top 30 was Pernice at +4.9, and top 125 was about +4.0.

comments and articles all calling him "Koepka".  that sounds weird to me.  Don't know why - they use Woods, Johnson, Duffner, Rose, Spieth, McIlroy, etc all the time.  Too many hard consonants apparently.....
