My personal experience isn't relative? Lol! What a joke. Here comes "cancel culture".  Now your gaslighting me for giving my own personal opinion based on living my own life here in Florida while you sit in PA. Priceless.

If Florida is so bad, why are politicians like AOC and Michigan's Governor Whitmer safe to come here. Because they're hypocrites.

How would that go over here if I wrote disparaging things about your home State of PA? It's not a virtual fact unless you can provide some hard data to back it up. Follow the science instead of following political science. There is no need for a vaccine in an immune system that is showing antibodies. But, I guess you're a doctor as well as a "golf pro"?

I've lived in Illinois (30 years), Iowa (15 years), and Ohio (6 years).

If you want you can say disparaging things about all three of those... God knows, I do.

Every state, every country, every governor, every president gets some things wrong and some things right. Shouldn't be a big deal to point out both the things they got wrong and the things they got right. No need to be offended.

I lived through Covid, it was a joke and nothing more than a mild case of the flu.

My aunt ended up in the hospital and almost got put on a ventilator. Her brother lost vision in his one eye, and basically is nearly incapacitated from living a normal life now.

The rest of the world isn't you.

Gaslighting would be making you convince lies.

Here are some facts.

1. you are 1 person out of 395 MILLION people in the United States.
2. Your personal experience is not the same experience of those 395 million people.
3. You are gaslighting yourself by believing your own experience is what only matters and is the only truth in the world.

Ok Frank, where did you read this word gaslighting that got you all excited to use it? I’m not sure you know what it means because @iacas did nothing close to it.

I have a degree in medicinal chemistry, and I never said you needed a vaccine (though a booster would help).

The rest of your BS isn’t worth further response.

Very unpopular take, to me this thread should be halted from new postings. I don’t read and new or relevant info about this. Of course things could change just my useless post on a boring Sunday.

Follow the science

Okay:

Brain-CAT-Scan.jpg

COVID-19 patients commonly report having headaches, confusion, and other neurological symptoms, but doctors don’t fully understand how the disease targets the brain during infection. Now, researchers at Tulane...

The team of researchers found severe brain inflammation and injury consistent with reduced blood flow or oxygen to the brain, including neuron damage and death. They also found small bleeds in the brain.

Surprisingly, these findings were present in subjects that did not experience severe respiratory disease from the virus.

Fischer’s initial findings documenting the extent of damage seen in the brain due to SARS-CoV-2 infection were so striking that she spent the next year further refining the study controls to ensure that the results were clearly attributable to the infection.

“Because the subjects didn’t experience significant respiratory symptoms, no one expected them to have the severity of disease that we found in the brain,” Fischer said. “But the findings were distinct and profound, and undeniably a result of the infection.”

That guy who got vaxxed like 70 times because he was doing something scammy. What is the negative effect of so many innoculations?

I'm not 50. I will when it opens up to those my age (at some point).

I'm over 50, but it hasn't quite been 4 months since I got the first booster. So, for me that means I can get this booster after April 28th.
I'm going to get it.

My philosophy is keep hitting me with the vaccines and the boosters until I'm like Wolverine.

I read a scholarly article written by a doctor who suggested waiting on the 4th shot (if your immune system is okay) until a new variant or subvariant is effectively on the scene.

I saw this and since this seems contrary to a lot that has been said here, so I thought I’d post it for discussion purposes

covid-comp-1.jpg?quality=75&strip=all&w=

The study, published by the Committee To Unleash Prosperity, graded states by comparing...

I just looked them up and seems the group publishing the study is politically biased so that may be the difference. But worth a look nonetheless if we are unbiased.

Oy, no, just to remain "unbiased" doesn't mean you have to read trash:

Quote

The study, published by the Committee To Unleash Prosperity, graded states by comparing COVID-19 outcomes based on the number of deaths, the economy and impact on education.

In other words… it's an opinion piece.

If you're perpetually LYING about how many COVID deaths you have, you're doing it wrong.

It's like listening to a flat earth society meeting and saying "but I had to listen to the other side, just to stay unbiased…".

What?! The New York Post, biased??? I have them on my morning reading list of news sources. Not to get another point of view, but to get a good laugh.

    • Yea, that’s what was also great about them.  They were still appropriate whether you played to a 30 or a 10 index.  I think the same can be said for the Mizuno JPX or Titleist AP1. If you fall in love with the Stealth irons, you like how they set up to a ball, they’re fit appropriately (length, shaft, you can adjust lie down the road if necessary), and within budget… I say go for it.  I mean you’ll probably be playing them for 8+ years, and will get your money’s worth. I would recommend hitting a few other irons while there, just to confirm you’re in love (kinda like dating before you tie the knot).
    • @darthweasel does it say anywhere on the scorecard if the executive course is OB? If it's not and it's definitely not staked OB then I would have played it, too. Earlier in the year I pushed a tee shot on a par 3 off the course but there were no stakes to mark OB and nothing on the scorecard indicated it was OB so I played it. It was clearly off the course, though, because it ended up in the grass on the side of the road that the town maintained. Though this got me thinking, could the course mark the penalty area on the side that @darthweasel was playing on and say it goes on indefinitely? And do the same for the executive course side, so the stream is marked on both sides but is only meant to be a lateral boundary depending on what side you're playing?
    • Sorry @ChetlovesMer and @Shindig One last thing, my uh budget just recently expanded quite a bit. I bought a semi expensive piece of equipment for my home office which died a short and abrupt death. Was going to return it when I posted on social media about it and the brand's director of relations offered to replace it and throw in another free much more expensive unit as I spent some time talking to him and his team and sent my failed unit directly to the engineers for testing. I don't have much a use case for the other unit so I'll probably sell it and put the money towards my irons. Incredible how life works sometimes isn't it? So uh, bump the budget to 1k. Do your recommendations change? Thoughts on the Stealth Irons from TaylorMade? I'm kind of falling in love with them and heading over to dicks to hit them tomorrow.
    • It's the nature of posting text only, I guess.  Sarcasm, mood, tone, etc don't always come through to the reader like you imagine it when writing.  (I know this very well first hand :)) For the record, I read your "Saudi" post as a tongue-in-cheek joke, so it wasn't a total miss. 🍻
    • I guess this is the thread to put this in, read a rumor that the PGA might be guaranteeing 500K to exempt players. So if one makes 100K for the year, he gets 400K. Will have to wait for details after meeting is over.
